All of his life he focused on football, working out, his health, his family, and his dog Otis. He has experimented with playing other roles but, sufficed as a quarterback. The timeline around his memoir starts when he was born, August 14, 1987 to the day the memoir was published, February 19, 2013.

  • Accepted into Florida State University to Play Football.

    • It was a hard choice for Tebow to pick between the place he used to live in (Alabama), either picking Alabama State University or Florida State University, and at the time he was at his peak, so it truly mattered and he chose right. 

    1. Winning the Heisman Award in 2007. 

    The award made him push for even more success, and climbing the ranks to ultimately be one of the few to become a multi National Champion. 

    1. Finally, he joined the NFL team, The Denver Broncos.

    This really set his mind for making the memoir and as well as creating multiple organizations, and gave him the assurance that God is always with him.°

  • Football is the number one scholarship sport at the college level with more full-ride scholarships than any other sport.
  • There are many NCAA scholarships available for students, and most if not all scholarships ever given were because of football, to places across the U.S.


    • The article shows how many scholarships can be gained from playing college football, and the potential benefits from playing it. Not only that, but the various links can take you to different types of programs, comfortable for whosoever.

  • Not only can football be a hobby, but a career as well, with many NFL athletes making millions of dollars a year. The Median salary is $860,000, but as a rookie is half of that amount. Most contracts however are around $1 million, but there are few up there in the multi-millions.

  • The average age for retirement as an NFL player is around 26 years old. Which means before they even hit 30, they would even need to work anymore. 

    • This answered most of the important questions because when looking for a career, these are the most well sought-after factors, right after the likability of the job. It does provide means and medians, as well as range between low and high.

  • The most common football injuries are tears and concussions, while in baseball the most common injury is arm soreness, which is much more safer. 

  • In Football, sometimes injuries can prevent a player from ever coming back to Football, but in baseball, there are much more opportunities to not only come back but to be fully healed and prevent it from ever happening again.

    • This website showed the true differences between baseball and football, and baseball seems to be a much more causal but just fun game to be able to do whatever, and even be able to have more game time with less injuries and more fun.

  • While the median salary for football players is $850k, the average for baseball players is $4.38m, with many other benefits. But the median is $1.5m.
  • While a right fielder makes on average $5.2m a season, a line backer only makes $1.8m. 


    • The article shows the different positions and each of their salaries, and even if a person doesn't get the spot they want, they still would make more than expected. It shows how different spots in different sports make multiple differences.
