After receiving his MBA in healthcare administration from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, Paul Generale advanced to the position of chief operating and financial officer, serving in the role for five years. He then joined CHRISTUS Health Information Technology in Dallas, overseeing an annual operating budget of $300 million and helping create business opportunities domestically and internationally. In 2008 Mr. Generale joined CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico, as regional chief financial officer and vice president. He oversaw daily operations and financial functions for the $450 million health system that employs 300 medical professionals. Mr. Generale later served for five years as the senior vice president of financial operations and ambulatory services for the entire health system, of which he is now an executive vice president. Operating out of Dallas, he oversees new ventures and acquisitions and sets business strategy across the enterprise, which encompasses $6 billion in assets and more than 2,500 physicians. Beyond his professional endeavors, Paul Generale has maintained an active role in the communities in which he has lived.
