I currently course the 1st semester in high school. I like a lot learning history and unlike other subjects I do intend to use it in the future. My aspirations in life include a college degree in International Relationships and a career dedicated to Diplomacy, which I hope includes traveling to other countries, whose history won't be unknown by me now. I currently enjoy learning other languages and I find quite interesting other countries' culture. Besides academic activities, I really enjoy performing arts, which is why I do aerial dancing and gymnastics. I am currently part of the cheerleading team and I like to do exercise regularly. Knowing this is important in order to invent new ways and learn how to avoid masacres, wars, plagues, conflicts and crisis like the ones that have happened. I also liked it because as I was doing it I understood a lot of things about Mexico's history and how every event gave place to other event and so on.

What I learnt from it: I learnt all the events that led Independent Mexico to form a republic and the challenges it faced, such as corruption, economic crisis and foreign countries interventions; that had to be counteracted with new laws and battles.

What I learnt from it: I learnt all the countries that that were conquered by Napoleon and through images I learnt the impact that Napoleonic wars had not only in conquered countries but also in countries that opposed and for those who fought against Napoleon. I also learnt why napoleon had advantage at some points and why he eventually lost having so many armies against him and in the case of Russia's intent of conquer, with the help of the maps I was able to appreciate why was the Russian border such a difficult place to cross.

Main challenges I faced while doing them: Figuring out the political division of the time when the countries as we know them now were different and some comprehended more territories that nowadays are independent; however, that helped us relate the countries' past and how their link affected universal history]]> 2017-11-21 06:02:25 UTC https://padlet.com/ana_ceci_v/irbz046t1naq/wish/208966694 ana_ceci_v https://padlet.com/ana_ceci_v/irbz046t1naq/wish/208966892 What I liked about it: I liked it because it really showed how this problem we have been dealing with for centuries, has affected our society in a way that now it is no longer big news, but all these things that happen to regular, good people because of their skin tone are brushed off as exaggeration or as a joke, when it is actually affecting the way we perceive our world.

What I learnt from it: I learnt that this problem is still active nowadays and that a lot of people not only allow it to happen but they actually don't care and in some news, these actions were as monstrous and archaic as they were back then, which really makes you wonder if we had actually evolved for the better. I learnt a lot of things about the world I live in and now than I know what is happening I can think of ways to solve the problem.

Main challenges I faced while doing them: Finding articles that really treated this topic as deeply and with a reflection as effective as our colored partners deserve. I also liked it because even though it was really easy to make it is a really helpful tool when studying.

What I learnt from it: Dividing the processes like I did I could see in a graphic way the events in a cause and effect format but summarized and now I understand the impact Europe, especially British, had in Asia and how the processes of conquer have few similarities but key differences that made the nations deal with intruders in their own way, and that is the reason why all had different results: failure or success.

What I learnt from it:I learnt that a lot of Europpean countries wanted parts of africa in order to explode all the natural resources there, this is why there are a lot of variations in african culture and then, that led to the tardy on the modernization of the continent, except for some independent states.
