Through her unique way of teaching Ms. G was able to help and transform her students' lives by instilling a philosophy that not only values diversity but helped them promote it.(Morgan & Lock, 2014). She had to find ways to relate to the students through their life's experiences. She made a point of involving her students in the teaching and learning processes, and she also encouraged them to teach her about their lives. This is the first sign that Mr. Keating is not your average traditional teacher.

"I stand upon my desk to remind myself that we must constantly look at things in a different way" (0:43:10) "Just when you think you know something, you have to look at it in another way" (0:43:31) Here we see that Mr. Keating is actively showing his students how to view the world, and the things they learn. He shows them that they will never fully know something, because you can look at it in many different ways to learn more about that certain thing.

By using this game she is able to learn more about the students personal lives, but more importantly, the students learn more about each other's lives, and they come to realise that they aren't as different as they thought they were.

Ms. G also uses a Problem Solving method when she writes a bunch of sentences on the board, each containing an error, and asks the students one by one to identify the error and correct it. 

Ms. G also uses the Groupwork method on many occasions in the film.

He tries to make the material more accessible and relevant to the students. He does this when he impersonates Julius Caesar in a more modern way, so that the language is more understandable to the students. 
Keating also teaches the students outside of the classroom, this improves their engagement in the lesson.
