At the elementary level, most of the students already know each other. Group norms will be established at the first session. Limits of confidentiality will also be discussed at the first session and how important it is not to tell other people's information. 

Stage 2: We will briefly reflect on previous sessions before moving forward with the learning for the day. Working through any issues is imperative to being cohesive. As students come in for the group, I will check in with them on how are feeling about assessments they may have taken or that are coming up. 

Stage 3: We will begin with the end in mind. A post-assessment will be given at the last session to name strategies that are effective for them.
