I just moved from the Financial industry to the Retail industry after 7 years in the IT department at Old Mutual. I am now with Pick and Pay which is in my view at the forefront of the Digital business model. Over 20% of total growth in revenue due to the online sales business which was only started in 2013. Digital capability has now allowed partnerships with other companies with the reward systems and the start of a revolutionary banking system which will have no bank charges and take 5 min to signup and get a bankcard at any of the shops tills. My expectation from this model is to allow me to get to the forefront of this Digital revaluation from a technology as well as a marketing perspective.
