On the other hand Nya a character who represents girl in Southern Sudan who walks eight hours a day to get muddy contaminated water for her family to drink and get hydrated. I can make a connection to this by when my parents first came to America like when Salva did everything was very different they had to learn a new language and understand technology, go out in public and understand how everything works in America they didn't have to worry about having blackouts in the middle of night or, no internet. They didn't have to worry about it anymore and just enjoy it here in America.

Someone who would enjoy this book is someone who likes to read about adventure and survival. If someone wants to read about adventure and survival about how Salva Dut a lost boy who has to go through a lake of alligators people are being pulled down by the animals while blood surrounds him. Scrooge refuses to hear anymore. He screams I'd rather go to hell first then dine with you and your wife. He drowns out Fred’s questions with an angry good afternoon and leaves. I can make a connection to this story because I've met people who are like Scrooge and they are always mean and scream a lot and you have to calm them down. Or they just can't control themselves and to keep whatever hatred inside instead they make people upset and sad.

Someone who would enjoy this book is someone who enjoys to read books about  people changing from a negative attitude to a positive person who wants to help there someone would enjoy this book because they probably can relate to someone changing in their life to become a great, kind person.

I made a connection to this story because I know a lot of girls who doubt themselves and they think that there's no point if no one likes you or cares about you and I seen my friends get upset. I know one of my friends had a little brother and she really wanted a sibling and now she kinda wants to be an only child again.
