Khyati, I know you have had challenges and the ride might probably not have been something you expected it to be but I believe in your will to give your best to your kids, to make them avid readers and express themselves fearlessly. Good luck with bringing to your 4th graders, all that you thought you could create with senior graders.

Namesake, you are a bundle of positivity. Your love, warmth and courage are all the things that define you as a leader. I know that you want nothing but the best for your children and it’s so beautiful to see you, your kids and your class teacher together on that path.

Things that you thought are not possible or are ‘not you’ will shape up in front of you without you noticing and when a year from now, during our second last year LDC of this journey, we will celebrate that together with smiles and tears. You will drive leadership in your classroom the way you would drive for self and that’s my hope for you 💛

Could I thank you enough for putting up with the kids (and a little bit of me) then owning them as yours? Just know that you’ve outdone every expectation by choosing to continue doing the Fellowship in the pandemic. I hope you meet the bacchas soon and have loads of fun with them!

Dear Roshni,

Like anybody else I was really apprehensive about a new fellow taking over my class. But after knowing you I know I can relax. You have loved the kids and kept your calm through it all. You started teaching them during their most challenging times. The strength and perseverance you have shown is nothing but inspiring. Every time I speak to any of our kids they tell me how good you are and how loving. Thank you for being there for them.
I hope in all of this you are taking care of yourself too and telling yourself that you are doing the best you can. We have complete faith in you.
The thing about our kids that I cherish a lot is the space they give us to fail and succeed. Just know we all are here for you if you ever need anything at all. I am looking forward to all the amazing things you will do in the classroom.
We haven't had much chance to interact but I wish one day we can meet over chai and talk.

I am so grateful that you came after me to take the journey forward. I love how we have bonded since the day 1 45 mins conversation. I understand that this is something that is not by choice but I appreciate that you are here for the children and you are putting the efforts to make the best of it.

Umnah, I've seen you grow and put up with all the challenges that have come your way in the fellowship with that big, bright smile of yours and honestly, I don't know how you do it. Even on days that must be hard for you, it never shows on your face. You've put up with so much in the school and yet, you keep on pushing yourself and everyone else around you, reminding everyone of deadlines, taking initiatives, organizing LC parties. I've met you once in real life and I can't wait to meet you more, learn from you, laugh with you and make memories with you. I still remember our first conversation when you were so tensed about your class culture and that curiosity to know as much as possible.
