Tony Stark is one of my favorite characters in all sci-fi thanks to Robert Downey Jr perfomances, the way he has personified a unique comics character with his expressions, making everybody understand his emotions and reasons is a truly work of art. However, this role as a super hero is not thrilling just because of his perfomance, but it represents a major turn around in Robert's life. In spite of being a good actor for almost his entire life, Downey Jr's past is quite troubled with many, many problems with drug addiction since he was only a child, nevertheless in 2001 after his last arrest he decided to get help and be free from drugs, after his full recovery his career started to take of, but only when he got the Iron Man role he was consolidated as one of the most famous actors in the world. Nowadays he is still well acclaimed by the critics and was listed by Forbes as the highest-paid from 2013 untill 2015. Lord was born in 1934 in Harlem, NY, daughter of caribbean immigrants, and became a major activist, especially on the 2nd wave feminism. Writer of the greatest poems and prose I’ve ever read, Lord's piece of art are unique and sensitive, that lead the reader in an impulse towards “the direction of integrity”. In contrast, her books have just recently been translated officially, and wide-spreaded out of the academic field or the lesbian movement.
Her essays, furthermore, present a distinct view of economics, politics and sexuality, which brings immersive contemplations about the way things are perceived and also upon the internal perspective, the way individuals deal with their own vulnerabilities. Consequently, Lord’s words are powerful, surrounding the soul in the way of liberation, as shown in the title of one of her outstanding prose: The Transformation of Silence into Language and Action.

Héctor Babenco despite being born in Argentina in 1946, naturalized became Brazilian in 1977. Another important film by Héctor Babenco was Carandiru, although his feature film was The Night King. In 2010 he married Bárbara Paz, a Brazilian actress. However, he had been married twice before. He was the father of two daughters and therefore the grandfather of the two grandchildren. Héctor Babenco has won many awards in his carrer. In addition to being nominated for an Oscar for The Kiss of the Spider Woman, he was nominated for the Brazil Cinema Grand Prize for Illuminated Heart, won the Silver Leopard Award for the film Pixote and São Paulo International Film Festival by Lúcio Flávio, the Passanger of the Agony. Unfortunately, Héctor Babenco passed away in 2016. However, his wife Bárbara derected a film about the end of Héctor Babenco's life, called Babenco - Someone has to Hear the Heart and Say: Stopped, which is on the Oscar list as a documentary and international films. She was good at high school basketball because of her height. As a teenager, his first jobs were as a nanny and at Burger King, however, as an adult, Gadot studied law and international relations at IDC Herzliya College. Gadot married Israeli businessman Yaron Varsano on September 28, 2008 while participating in the recordings for Fast and Furious. In November 2011, his first daughter, Alma, was born. Her second daughter, Maya, was born in March 2017. Although Gal Gadot is a cinematic hero, she is also a real hero in real life, managing to be more "Wonder" as a "Woman" in real life than the character she embodies.

I have enjoyed the work of Ian McKellen since I watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy. In my opinion, it is his best performance! In 2001, he was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for this movie. Although I know more about his work in cinema, Ian has also acted in theater. In fact, his first professional appearance was in a theater in 1961. Since then, he has performed in several genres such as Shakespearean and modern theater, popular fantasy, and science fiction. Another thing I appreciate about Sir McKellen, not necessarily in his work, is his positioning in the LGBT community. He made his sexual orientation public after the controversy with Section 28 of the Local Government Bill, which proposed banning local authorities from promoting homosexuality. McKellen became active in the fight against the proposed law. He said during this period, "My own participating in that campaign was a focus for people to take comfort that if Ian McKellen was on board for this, perhaps it would be all right for other people to be as well, gay and straight". In 2009 Sandra starred two amazing films: The Proposal and The Blind Side. The Proposal is probably my favorite movie ever, however Sandra's work on the second film was even more impressive. For that reason, the actress won the Golden Globe for "Best Actress (drama)" and the Oscar for the last.
