         <description><![CDATA[<div>Definitely agree that it was in many ways MORE interactive than if we had simply been in a lecture and left - however I did find myself having no idea who did the course other than those who were in my group, which is a bit disconcerting.<br><strong>Agree - Although within the group setting&nbsp; I didn't feel isolated, in terms of the rest of the class it was quite isolating.&nbsp;I like face-to-face contact so although it was a good learning experience, I did feel isolated at points.</strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Think this group may be quite a good case study for online learning and group work for people who did not, generally, know each other before this unit. This definitely had both advantages and disadvantages - and communication online was an issue as a result of the fact that we were unfamiliar with each other - however I think this fact may have aided our working OFFLINE as we put in more effort to meet up during the assigned lecture slots, as was demonstrated through the fact that we were there almost every week when no one else was!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The quality of the film resources did not detract from my learning, as we were not expecting a high quality production. In comparison to other modules, the quality of the material was high. It was very beneficial having access to online books &amp; papers, as it meant I could fit the course around my own schedule.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I felt a little isolated, not necessarily from my peers and team but from the module more generally. Whilst its a module that everyone seems to enjoy due to our own experiences of growing up with social media etc etc, it could sometimes be tricky to differentiate between personal experience and actual theories/academic research. In this way I feel that discussions/debates with lecturers may have been more useful in cementing and conceptualising the ideas and topics discussed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I enjoyed online learning for the same reasons that the others have described. However, from an economical point of view, I did question what I was gaining from this course that I couldn't have gained from say an Open University course or even a Coursera/Udemy course, although the group work did mitigate this feeling a bit. <br><br><strong>I definitely also agree with this - it did mean that I only really had two lecture to attend this semester and did mean that I felt like I wasn't really being taught anything per say..<br><br>Yep would agree... The fact we were proactive in meeting face-to-face made this slightly better, but&nbsp;because there was no real test of understanding at the end of each section and you could do the group work without having gone through all the material does question the economical gain. </strong></div>]]></description>

Also, most other units allow you to deviate from topic covered in group presentation when completing the end of year individual assessment.          <description><![CDATA[<div>I didn't feel isolated from my group as there was still a high level of communication both online over the weeks and also as we came into the lab to work together most weeks this was not an issue. especially as there was a high level of group work this mitigated any isolation, which with an online only module there would have been if we'd all worked alone. </div>]]></description>

I think the online aspect of learning is better for if you are constrained for time or have a lot else on because you&nbsp;can watch the lectures whenever you want to. </div>]]></description>
