Patient was skiing with friends on February 19th, 2022 at Sun Valley Ski Resort in Idaho.

During the first run the patient was going down hill and lost control, going too fast. The patient then crashed into the moguls.

Arrival: Pt lost control going too fast and crashed into the moguls. The pt has minor abrasions to the face and he is unable move his legs on command. No obvious deformities or bleeding noted.

Treatment:

ABCs ( sounds like the pt was alert)
GCS and assess for loss of consciousness
Call ski patrol to get the pt down depending on where we are.
Protect c-spine and full body splint on the pt.
Keep them warm.
IV, vitals, O2, pain meds if needed, be calm and reassure the pt, blood sugar, lung sounds, pupils, and EKG
Transport to the higher level hospital due to trauma injuries and unknown trauma. St Lukes Magic Valley Med Center.

•What other information would be helpful to know regarding patient's status?

(Yes patient was alert and oriented to person, place, situation, and time)

Patient did lose consciousness briefly upon crash for less than 2 minutes, awoke and was A&O x4.
