This tweet, written on November 15th, is Goldberg expressing his inability to watch the news network CNN, which caters mainly to the liberal demographic. Often, CNN will report stories with a bias that leans towards left-wing ideals. Goldberg, who is extremely right-wing, uses a humorous GIF to represent the fact that he feels he is forced to view content that he disagrees with. This relates to his biography because he is labeled as the author of "Liberal Fascism" and "The Tyranny of Cliches: How Liberals Cheat on the War of Ideas", which are both anti-democrat literary works. This would help to explain his disgust with CNN. Goldberg has also expressed disagreement with stories run by the CNN network in other tweets as well as articles he has written.

This tweet was tweeted by a Twitter account under the handle "@GayPatriot" and retweeted by Goldberg shortly after. The tweet is reflecting on how the writer, as a strong conservative, believes that they hold themselves at a higher standard than what liberals are at. The tweet accuses other conservatives of "[lowering] their standards to liberals", which can be better understood when one takes into account the context of this tweet. During the time of this tweet being written, there was a surplus of bipartisan fighting and tensions due to the Trump presidency. Both parties see the other as immoral and vain. This tweet holds a strong resemblance with Goldberg's biography because it reflects his discontent towards liberals, which many conservatives appear to have.

This tweet, written on November 2, 2017, is a response by Goldberg to twitter user @comfortablysmug. The user is exposing Ralph Northam, lieutenant governor of Virginia, for being ineffective in his beliefs. It seems as if Northam cannot properly choose a side, and instead simply goes with whatever seems convenient to him at the time. Goldberg, in response to this, compares Northam to former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who was commonly criticized by conservatives for being wishy-washy and easily swayed by her surroundings. The majority of conservatives had a negative opinion of Hillary Clinton, mostly due to her email scandal as well as the notion that she is not strong presidential material because of her inability to stand with a certain side and not be persuaded otherwise. this obviously relates to Goldberg’s biography because it states that he is extremely conservative and therefore would most likely hold this negative viewpoint of Hillary Clinton. he has also expressed this unfavorable opinion of Clinton in past tweets and articles.

In this tweet, written on November 17, 2017, Goldberg links to a CBS News article that bears the question, “Bill Clinton: the original Donald Trump?” Goldberg adds, “the comment section should be fun.” When Goldberg writes this, he is obviously hinting at the notion that liberals would be absolutely against comparing Bill Clinton, a former Democratic president, to Donald Trump, the current Republican president. it is easy to say that he is also poking fun of the stereotype that liberals are too dramatic and form reactions based on sentiment rather than logic. Bill Clinton was in arguably popular president among the Democratic Party, so it’s a bold claim to compare him to Donald Trump, who is so widely disliked by that same party. this relates to Goldberg’s biography because he is a strong believer in the liberal stereotype of miscalculated overreactions, as a lot of conservatives are.

In this tweet, written November 16, 2017, Goldberg and a handful of other conservative Twitter users engage and a lengthy debate concerning the sexual harrassment and assault allegations against Al Franken and Roy Moore and their equivalence regarding one another. One Twitter user brings up the fact that Roy Moore‘s allegations were just that—allegations, while Franken’s misconduct was backed up by hard photographic evidence. Goldberg responds with the notion that, although Frankens was backed up by photographic evidence, what Roy Moore did was immensely worse than Franken. Another conservative Twitter user responded to this tweet to clarify the line between Franken’s proof and Moore’s allegations. Goldberg responds with the pictured tweet, noting that allegations from a multitude of credible women counts as proof. This corresponds with his biography because it is stated that Goldberg is somebody who sticks to the facts, and prefers logic over sentiment. This could also explain why he sees Moore’s assault as a more damning move then Franken’s harassment.

in this tweet, Jonah Goldberg has retweeted is statement originally written by Twitter user @ModeledBehavior. The account is quoting a tweet by Matt Stoller who allegedly provided false information about Larry Summers’ commentary. in the original tweet, Stoller accuses Summers of resigning from Harvard due to his claim that men were inherently better at math than women. However, this seems to be untrue due to the fact that the Twitter user @ModeledBehavior felt it was necessary to respond as well as debunk the false claim. They do it in a very precise and direct way, the same way one would expect Goldberg to handle the situation. Goldberg retweeting this tweet relates to his biography because he is infamously known for being very blunt and logical. This tweet made by @MindlessBehavior very much mirrors what he would say.

This tweet was written by Goldberg in the midst of the Roy Moore allegations. Goldberg, like the majority of people, came out in support of the victims and were disgusted by the news. Many people accused Goldberg of being anti-Christian and used the Bible to defend Moore’s sexual abuse against young girls. Goldberg responded in this tweet with a curt expletive to the people who are accusing him of being anti-Christian as well as expressing his confusion towards the idea that Roy Moore was a moral Christian figure. This relates to his biography because although one might not agree with his extremely conservative views, he is still a person with a moral compass and a shred of common sense. His outlets such as Twitter and his articles allow him to properly voice his opinions and therefore they are often heard.

In the tweet, Goldberg is responding to a Twitter user who concocted the conspiracy theory of Roy Moore’s allegations providing a distraction from other sex offenders, such as Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey. The writer of this tweet has obviously forgotten the fact that Roy Moore’s allegations are true, therefore they are not just a ploy to distract the audience. It is hard to believe that the audience’s attention span would be that fickle and easily manipulated. Goldberg responds to this original tweet with his usual blunt mannerisms, and even adds a little extra by ensuing that the original creator of the tweet was high on drugs at the time of this writing. This insinuation really shows how far Goldberg will take his commentary to prove his point. It also matches his biography because he is known as being extremely blunt and straightforward with his tweets, and even if it is something as outlandish as accusing the writer of being high, it definitely gets his point across, which is something that Goldberg always values.

In this tweet, Goldberg refers to a moment that happened in one of Trump’s campaign speeches in which he opens up a water bottle in flings around the remaining droplets towards the audience’s direction. He alludes to this moment as being “epochal”, which is a humorous twang onto something that would normally be very unhumorous, a Trump speech. Although Goldberg is conservative, he does tweet often about disagreements he has with the Trump administration policies. Therefore Trump is no exception when it comes to Goldberg’s consistent joking. The tweet relates to his biography because he is known for being a conservative with strong viewpoints but for also having a sense of humor and the ability to make light of things. The moment in the Trump speech in which he flings water droplets towards the crowd is arguably a strange one, and Goldberg is able to use it to his advantage for joke-making purposes.

In this retweet Goldberg has acknowledged an account under the handle of “@OldFashPOTUS”, an account to presumably takes quotes and tweets by president Donald Trump and converts them into a trite old-timey way of speech that is hard to understand but nevertheless still humorous. This account’s main purpose is to mock the president, something that Goldberg can get behind due to his ability to take things lightly and poke fun at political figures. Goldberg retweets this along with a number of other things that bash both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. This coincides with his biography due to the fact that he is commonly known for his sense of humor and witty commentary on current politics.
