The Mona Lisa is one of Da Vinci's most popular pieces of art. The image depicts a relaxed female either smirking or smiling and sitting in front of some sort of window or out in a field while Da Vinci painted her.
Some elements shown in the painting that show is the highlighting done in the picture, making it seem as if the sun is setting since the light is more on her chest rather than her face or the scenery behind her. There is also a lot of detail in her face, but there is still an illusion of her either smiling or smirking, which is constantly being fought over on which is happening. The folds in her clothes also show how careful and important this piece was, since in medieval times, there was little to no thought in clothes or background, unlike this piece with extraordinary detail.

The Vitruvian man is one of Da Vinci's views on the proportions of the human body. He used this to learn about the proportions of humans and other things in nature. Although there is no color, extreme detail was put into this work, including shading and overlapping of drawings. Da Vinci also put extreme detail in the face, also showing off the proportions.
