In elementary school, I witnessed my friend bullying a girl she did not like. I was a bystander to the whole situation, even though I was willing to stand up for the bullied girl since it was wrong. However, I couldn't because I wanted to stay friends with the bully, so I did nothing. She would think I betrayed her.

When I was younger I saw someone messing with an animal, so I told them to leave it alone and threatened to get a teacher. It ran off, but it was fine.

There are times I didn't act to protect someone from bullying because the person could shift their attention from whoever they are bullying to you making you the primary target and potentially saying mean words to you or hitting you.

My little brother was getting bullied on the bus, I got on the bus and shouted at the kid who was doing it, basically scarring the kid for life I then asked if he was okay then got him ice cream

My dog likes to bite my other dog for fun, so i protect my dog and make sure she is okay because if my sibling was doing that to me, i would want someone to help.

I saw a girl and her friends eating on a bench at the mall and a man was harassing them and raising his voice and I walked away because to me them not being people I knew and that he wasnt laying his hands on them it was enough of a reason for me to not care and walk away.

A friend of mine was being disrespected by a mutual friend so I stepped in to mediate between them and they figured out their differences.

My friend was in a bad relationship with some people a few years ago. They thought they could trust them and I wasn't so sure. Later in a class one for those people was talking about them behind their back I heard spreading rumors and i should have stepped in and defended them. The only thing i did was tell my friend what had happened later.
