For them to make this they had to take a photo of each movement and edit this on the computer software. I have alot of experience with pixilation and animation so it would be a good thing to into for my music video.

But it would be very time consuming for the little time that we actually have to make it.

This is a music video by Coldplay for the song Up & Up. In this song they have short shots of unusual green screen work. This allowed them to change the size of things and make it look like it could actually happen. I think this technique is the most effective out of them all because it's intriguing and I have just wanted to watch this video over and over again because it is so good. This has actually given me inspiration and ideas for my own idea that I could use in the music video project.

It look so realistic and so easy to watch

This is a music video by Dizzee Rascal for a song called bonkers. In this video they use a 360 camera that allows them to film everything around the artist while he is singing the song. This gives the video and Cool effect and makes it look like he is on a tiny planet. You can experiment with this in different environment around the world cause it would give you crazy and unusual angles like this.

This sort of video is very unique and I've never seen anything like it before. Which means it would be very effective and different for you to do something like this.

This is a music video by foo fighter for the song Pretender. It includes just different shots of the band playing the song in a empty warehouse. But they do use a lot of different camera movements. This is shot by a crane that suspends the camera at certain heights while keeping the shot smooth and clean. Having this for a music video is really effective as it gives you a lot more shots to work with without worrying how you would do that shot, and if it would look good

I don't understand why this is done, but I find it really interesting and intriguing to watch. It's different and unique, while also giving the fans an image and an identity of what the band is all about.

Having something different and unique in a music video is very effective which is the reason why using this sort of technique would be really good and would excel in any music video.

This is as music video by The Verve that uses the lip sync and miming technique throughout the video. While also doing this in one shot, I think that lip syncing allows the music video to have more emotion from the artist itself. It helps give the music an image and a single emotion that we all feel when watching the video. In this video the lead singer walks down the street oblivious to what is going on around him.

Lip syncing helps for the audience to also understand the lyrics and understand what the song and video is actually about. I think this technique is very important for a music, as you need the artist to be involved with the audience.

This is a song call Lane Boy by Twenty One Pilots, during this music video they use the cutting to the beat effect. Artists use this effect to give the beat of there song a emphasise, and will hopefully make it more effective. Even though this song doesn't use this effect for every beat, there are some songs that cut to the beat with every beat of the song. I think that having the shots cutting to the beat makes both the music video and the music itself much more effective. It gives the music video some excitement and rhythm to it. It doesn't get boring easily.

The reason why they used this concept is to hopefully gain popularity from the songs and also the artists that are singing in the song. The only problem is that in the music video there is not a lot about the company itself, The song doesn't really go with the company. Which is very confusing for not just me the audience in general.

There may be more that I'm unaware of. The reason why artist do parodies about different celebrities is to put there opinion across and mainly to cause a lot more trouble in the media. This would mean that more people would want to watch the video because they want to know what all the media stories are about.

Surrealist style focuses in using different animation techniques to create something out of the ordinary. This video focusing on capturing the artist perform there song while having unique and short clips of people falling and doing generally random things. This is helped by animation making it look like there are object being drawn on the wall.

The fault of doing this is that the real shots would have to be well planned as the actors will need to know where the animated objects are to make it look like they are interacting with it.

The impressionist style is used to capture the mood and atmosphere and the environment where the character is. This video is based in a jungle where a man is running away while arrows are being fired at him. This gives me a feeling that the song is about war. Being able to capture the environment really allows the audience to understand the mood and atmosphere that the artist is trying to put across. For me it comes across a very sad.

The video is about religion and how if you break a rule in religion, some people would take that seriously and would want to hurt you. He is putting the message of peace across saying that you are an individual and you are able to do whatever you want to do.

I Think that having a narrative in a music video is very effective as it allows the audience to understand the full story and what the song is suggesting.

Interpretation is a style that makes the audience think a lot about the message and generally what the song and video is about. When i watched this video for the first time i found it nice to watch because of the dance routines. But i did not and i still don't understand fully what the song is about. I think that this technique is very effective as it allows the audience to have debates about what it is about and it will be more memorable if it is controversial in that way.

This video has style and includes live concert footage, at the start of this every one is standing still with no emotion. That links with the song itself as it's slow and meaningful. This suggests to me that the audience feels included and shares the same experience as the artist. This is a good technique as it gives all the fans a feeling that the artist likes to share his feelings and experiences with the world.

The problem with this technique is that you would only be given one chance to shoot this. So there would need to be a lot of cameras set up at different angles. Nothing can be messed up.
