Authentic and delicious Dim Sum
This is the city that does dim sum best. Brunch may be everyone’s new favourite obsession, but dim sum elevates the brunch experience to the next level. Pan-fried rice rolls, juicy dumplings and fluffy steamed buns stuffed with vegetables, chicken or char siu severed with an array of condiments is just the way to start off any day.
2. World Highest Bar
Hong Kong may be famous for having one of the most energetic nightlife scenes in the world – the party never stops. But when it isn’t raining, there’s nothing better than taking in a breath-taking view of Hong Kong Island’s skyline. Up on 118th floor 1,608 ft above sea level is Ritz Carlton’s Ozone Bar.
3. Cruising on a Junk
Everything is centered around the flashing city lights and there’s no better place to see them than on a boat. Taking a trip down Victoria Harbor on an iconic red-sailed Chinese junk, Aqua Luna is a luxurious way of bar hopping from one rooftop bar to the next.
4. Tranquil gateways
Escape from the crowds and enter the cultural spots throughout the city. Although Hong Kong is known for its diverse population, the Buddhist hubs are the most peaceful in the city. Chi Lin Nunnery is one of the most beautiful places with lotus ponds, bonsai tea plants and traditional architecture from the Tang Dynasty.
5. Street arts
One of the newer features in the thriving art scene is street art in Sheung Wan. Creative and whimsical street art takes you from Shoreditch to side streets in Hong Kong. All over the city there are walls, shutters and entire buildings, where portraiture and abstract shapes come to life.

Rich variety of tourist attraction and world heritage site
- Having been the center of economic and cultural development for many centuries, Osaka has many traditional and modern sightseeing attractions, including Bunraku (a traditional puppet theater designated by UNESCO as an intangible cultural asset), Osaka Castle, Universal Studios Japan™ and Kaiyukan aquarium, which is one of the largest aquariums in the world. There are always things to do, places to visit and new things to discover.

One of Osaka's greatest advantages is its proximity to the many World Heritage sites which are scattered throughout the cities of Kyoto, Nara, Kobe and Wakayama, some no more than 30 minutes away. Osaka is home to its own recently-recognized World Heritage Site, the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group. Day trips can also be made to Hiroshima, Nagoya and even Tokyo.

—
2. Top-notch meeting facilities and accommodations
- Osaka is equipped with first-class meeting and event facilities, including the state-of-the-art Osaka International Convention Center, Congres Convention Center, Osaka Central Public Hall, INTEX Osaka, Asia-Pacific Trade Center and Kyocera Dome Osaka.

In addition to being home to some of the world's foremost hotels, there is also an abundance of reasonably priced accommodation. Rich culture of Japan
Osaka’s captivating cultural sites and attractions. For example, The Suntory Yamazaki Distillery, Osaka Castle, Fish Market Kuromon, The Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum, Universal Studios Japan.
—
4. People
- Osakans are considered to be more friendly. As I mentioned, Osaka has the strong comedy culture, people are tend to joke and laugh with others while Tokyoites are more shy and quiet generally.

—
5. Osaka’s food culture
Osaka’s food culture is stronger than any other regions in Japan as the term “kuidaore” (“eat until you drop”) is used to describe the city. Many of their local dishes become nation’s favourites such as Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki. Also Osaka is the best place to eat cheap and enjoy their street food! ]

a) Demographic: Focusing on the demographic aspect for the target market of our incentive trip, we have decided that the guests would be aged between 25 - 50. As the company we are working with is quite diverse, we have targeted on an age group of both Gen Y & Gen Z. Although both age groups are different, after doing some research we have come to the conclusion that these two generations would have similar mindsets and would have similar business ideas and perspectives. As we have worked with other business companies before for other age groups that are older than the currently focused demographics, we are delighted to provide a worthwhile incentive trip for this group of 80 people.

b) Psychographic: Our project is targeted on the insurance company AXA, therefore the guests targeted for our incentive trip is mainly people who are from the upper class. Paris, France is one of the most luxurious countries in the world, and a lot of well-known businessmen and companies tend to visit the country for their business purposes. The labor force of the AXA insurance company are never overlooked or looked down on by the Malaysian community as they are significant people that hold good images in the public’s eyes. Therefore, we have decided that the massive French economy would be a great place for the members of AXA to venture out and get their company ideas on a brainstorming process. Additionally, the French lifestyle would be a lifestyle that could be of mutual interest to the members of the company as even though the insurance companies have laid back policies, there are endless possibilities of moving forward.

c) Geographic: AXA Insurance Company is originally a French company based in Malaysia. The target market we have aimed for will consist of people of Malaysian nationality on the majority side. Additionally, there will be some other nationalities such as India, Singapore, Indonesia, and more. As France is the origin of the company, some of the high authority members such as leaders would be from France. As mentioned before, we are expecting the geographic estimates to be rigid, but diverse at the same time as the event we are hosting is definitely something that could be more enjoyable by a more contrasting target market.

The reason why we chose this timeframe is due to the availability of options. As festive season would not be an ideal time for incentive trips, September was our final decision.

Flight option 1 that we have chosen is Etihad Airways. The flight which will depart to France from Kuala Lumpur is Etihad Airways 711 and will consist of a layover in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The travel date would be on 13th September, and the return date would be on 20th September from Etihad Airways which also consists of a layover at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

1)DMCs are professional management company specializing in the design and implementation of events, utilizing extensive local knowledge and resources
DMCs work cooperatively with airlines, hotels, resorts, convention centers, and transportation companies. They also refer to the entire activities and services for a client as a “program.” DMCs are also an important element in incentive travel. They usually offer, but is not limited to, guest tours, VIP amenities, transportation, staffing, entertainment, décor, on-site registration, and housing.

2) First and foremost, going green actually helps the organization to do their CSR (corporate social responsibility) program because protecting the planet is also a responsibility of global villager. Hence, it will definitely enhance their brand image as they will be acknowledge as a environmental caring organization. Next, the organization can differentiate them with the others that who didn't really care about the surroundings due to their concern of the environmental issues.

3) Capturing the economic benefits of tourism while limiting undesirable environmental consequences is the ultimate goal of a successful green strategy. The experiences of private- and public-sector organizations in many locales suggest that the most powerful strategies are those that take a holistic approach. These businesses treat each destination they oversee as a complete physical, cultural, and economic ecosystem. By crafting a sustainable tourism strategy through a multifaceted lens, policymakers and leaders in the tourism sector can ensure that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and at the same time make sure that no part of the system is neglected.
Building a comprehensive blueprint for sustainability begins with addressing four key environmental issues: reducing carbon emissions, conserving biodiversity, managing waste properly, and protecting and conserving water. The blueprint, however, also requires an analysis of the underlying systems and structures that a destination must have in place to enable change. These include regulations and governance, stakeholder participation, funding and financing, capacity building and education, and marketing and public relations. Once these environmental issues and enabling systems and structures are understood, policymakers and tourism leaders can develop a green strategy for their destination.
Any destination that aspires to succeed in the age of green tourism and to ensure its sustainability should focus on the above-mentioned four key issues:
a) Biodiversity conservation. Whether scuba diving in the Red Sea, exploring hiking trails in the Pacific Northwest, or venturing into the jungles of Central America, a growing number of travelers are reaching out to experience a world beyond their own. Destinations with natural beauty offer tourists an escape from the pressures and sensory overload of urban life. Unique natural assets are therefore precious, and their preservation is a critical component of sustainable tourism. In the past two decades, tourism to biodiversity hot spots has increased more than 100 percent, making conservation all the more urgent.
b) Waste management. As a major pollutant, waste affects both water and soil quality and can detract from a destination’s image if treated improperly. The effective management of liquid and solid waste — from households and any local industrial processes — is therefore essential to the perception of a destination as clean and healthy. No traveler wants to worry about contracting a disease on his or her journey; a whiff of foul air can quickly change a tourist’s perception of even the most beautiful locale.
c) Water supply protection. An adequate and healthy water supply is crucial to any destination’s long-term environmental sustainability. Severe water shortages continue to plague many parts of the world, and two major external trends — rising populations and the potential effects of climate change — provide added reasons for concern about this scarce resource. Countries with water shortages that rely heavily on tourism face a double burden: Their citizens desperately need the water that keeps hotel swimming pools — and, by extension, the national treasury — full. A smart, conservative policy to guarantee water availability is key to keeping both pools and coffers full and both tourists and citizens satisfied.

What is the role of DMC in promoting a destination??

A destination management company is a professional management company specializing in the design and delivery of tours, events, local transportation and other different activities based on local knowledge and expertise. This type of company is locally- based and uses local resources to provide products and services and satisfy interests and needs of individual clients and groups within a specific city, region or a country. Its local knowledge and experience allows designing products for clients such as: outgoing travel agencies and tour operators, meeting planners and other event organizers, as well as for independent travellers at the destination .

How can a DMC promote green practices at a destination?

1. Research and Use Eco-Friendly Services in the Area
2. Go Green at Your Hotel - The chance to go green starts with your hotel. Ask cleaner not to change your sheets and towels every day. Similarly, turn off air conditioners, heaters, and other electronic gadgets when you go out. Better still, stay in hotels that have recycling programs in place and abide by their guidelines.
3. Challenge to themselve to Step Outside their Comfort Zone
- Walk around, even if only in the streets closest to your hotel.
- Eat in local restaurants.

How does green practices help a destination to be different than other destination?

1. Carbon emission reduction.
Destinations can reduce their environmental impact by integrating carbon-friendly principles into their supply chains, and purchasing sustainably sourced goods and materials. In addition, they can implement low-carbon waste management policies, including energy-efficient recycling.
2. Biodiversity conservation.
3. Waste management.
Destinations must therefore invest in waste management early: following best practices by reducing sewage and industrial waste streams, minimizing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and incinerators, and recycling whenever possible. Ideally, waste should be used to generate energy. Cutting-edge methods such as waste-to-energy conversion can enhance a destination’s reputation in the green playing field and attract potential investors in addition to bolstering environmental sustainability.
