Hey everyone!

My name is Andrew. I'm a math major in what is hopefully my final year at CSUF, not counting the credential program.

My journey to wanting to become a teacher is a long one. I started off in junior high sticking around after school looking for any math teacher who stayed late for help with my homework. By the time I was in high school, my math teacher encouraged me to start tutoring other people because I was excelling. By the time I was a senior and graduating, I was leading review sessions for my peers and other classes while my teacher helped students on a one-on-one basis.

Since then, I've been tutoring privately on and off. I've had a pretty eclectic background regarding my work experience. I was an administrative assistant for a youth group, I've worked in a sushi restaurant, and I was a private tutor.

In my free time, I love going to the movies, reading books, and spending time with my family, regardless of what we're doing.

I hope to learn a lot this year through the class and through the observations.
