Thoughts - Book 1

Not much was weird at the school at the start of the year. It was magical, and some of those were weird, but not as weird as I thought exactly. But then, it started to get a bit weirder. The teachers were a bit anxious, Hagrid wasn't like himself much, and that some "things" have been happening at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

But then, I found that at the end of the obstacles (The Chess Board, The Mirror, The Devil's Snare, etc.), Professor Quirell was aiding Voldemort, who was a parasite on the back of Professor Quirrel's head.

The end was a good one, but I wasn't very happy that the year had to end. Harry is back to living at Privet Drive.

Thoughts - Book 2
The book started off very bad, with The Dursleys having guests coming over, Dobby coming, Dobby being found out, Dobby ruining Harry's life, and then Harry barely escaping his locked room.

He went and stayed with The Weasleys for the summer at The Burrow, had a good time, and traveled with floo powder, but ended up at Knockturn Alley. He meets up with Hagrid, and they go to Diagon Alley. But,

It seems like Harry Potter books give us lessons about life, and connect to real life. Here are all the topics that I have read so far.

-Be Brave
In Harry Potter Books, there is always a quest/mission, with some challenge at the end that takes bravery and courage to overcome it. It teaches us to be brave, and overcome our fears.

-Not Everything is As it Seems
The books teach us that not everything is as it seems. Professor Quirrel seemed good at the start and middle, but that turned around at the end when we figured out that Voldemort was being aided by Professor Quirrel.

Professor Snape was looking bad at the start and middle, sounding like a bad person, and he could've been framed at a couple of parts, doing something in the wrong place at the wrong time. But, we figured out he was good, and trying to protect Harry and The Sorcerer's Stone.

Take Gilderoy Lockhart as another example. He looked good, and we thought that he did many great things. But at the end, we figured out he was a fraud, using memory charms on wizards.

One more example is Tom Riddle, who  we all thought was good when Harry found the book, but at the end, we figured that was Voldemort, and Tom Riddle is Voldemort's name, also, Tom  almost killed Harry and Ginny with The Basilisk, but thankfully, Harry stabbed the book and destroyed part of Tom's soul, stopping him for some time (presumably).]]> 2021-06-02 21:52:15 UTC https://padlet.com/3654551/iqjwuaz299m9aoej/wish/1580831721
