The group first met at the 2019 Annual Conference in San Jose with well-season writers and those new to writing for academic publications and other writing purposes. The RW-IG is active in hosting webinars 3-4 times a year on topics related to the mechanics of writing, the publishing process, developing oneself as a writer and avenues for accessible publication for new and seasoned writers.
