Many minorities had joined the war efforts by fighting in the war, yet they were still separated from the other men. A lot of the minorities were having trouble seeing the point in protecting a land that doesn't even protect your rights. These minorities even played a big role in the progression of our push. Racism was so strong still, that the military hadn't even allowed black people or any other non white man to reach the rank of officer.

With a lot of the men gone, there were plenty of jobs open that needed to be filled. Plus, more jobs were being made that were also open due to the war needing industrial workers. So, it was left to the only capable people left, the women. The government encouraged women to get jobs and take the mans place while he's away. This also, meant less people were unemployed, and people all across the board had more money. On top of all that, a lot of the women were doing their jobs more efficiently than the men. Yes, it was slower work than the men, but it was more efficient with less mistakes.
