It has been years since the outbreak of Covid virus, I have to obey the laws of Malaysia and so I was force to stay in my bunker with my brother until there is a vaccine. Plenty of world major country, like: Germany, Russia, China, UK and USA are fighting against each other to invent the cure, if one were to invent it already then the country will be having a high income.

I am very active online, to burn my time and I watch documentary about WWII most of the time and I rarely go out to jog around my park during MCO after my dinner, so I decided to do it in my bunker. Let me tell you my view about Covid, in 2020 we had something coming over us that the world could not expect, an unknown foe invaded our nation, our people and our empire. It hit us where we are most humans in close contact, in hugs, talks, and celebrations. This virus made normal behavior risky, and unusual protective behavior normal, and 2020 is the year where humans learn. The virus pandemic was a once-in-a-century political, social and economic challenge. It must be suffering year for each leader of each country.

In this month, I’ve read a lot of books about WWII and I find it very effective for my own wisdom. I seldom go out and eat during MCO and instead, I always cook a simple meal for myself as no one will help you, and I know there is plenty of people still going around during MCO and people are risking themself to death which is hard for me to understand, I always thought to myself, “Be the change that you want to see in this world” and therefore, it prevented me form going out.

“School holidays” , a word that always comes to every student's mind, should be full of excitement, nervousness and curiosity. Full of different types of feelings going through every one of us during school holidays. Of course I will be one of them. Holidays should be a fun thing that our families gather around and travel to other places to have fun. But things don't seem to be right as I expected it to be. Everyone knows covid is everywhere in the world and it is dangerous that we can't have fun and travel around. Then there will not be gatherings ,no parties ,no shopping, no fooling around not wearing masks. Then just by staying at home so we will be safe!

But what’s the point of staying at home? We do nothing, not to say nothing but by playing video games, watching Netflix all day, staying in bed. I should be one of them but I did something better than that. Overall staying at home is not too bad, we get to spend more time with our families at home. We don’t get to be around with them when we get older so this will be the best chance to stay with them.

To start off my holidays.I do workouts to keep my body healthy from dancing. I dance ballet every Wednesday and Thursday so I am good to go with my health. And this holiday as I expected will not end so fast. I started a dancing account on my social media so I spend wisely on learning and practicing everyday through this holiday at home and post it up. So I will not have time to say boring things at home. At least I have something to do. And this is useful enough for me that can help me in the future.

I love cooking and I am glad that I know how to cook. I started cooking when I was standard 4, my mom taught me the easier way for me to cook by not using fire because it is dangerous. I used a cooking machine at home and it is easy as I just dump all the things that needed for that dish and on switch and that’s all. Soon after I started getting older to be able to cook using fire and cook for dinner at home. This holiday I am not cooking dinner and I did some dessert or snack at home. At least this takes my boredom off my heads.

Sometimes I could sit on the sofa watching drama for a few hours by doing nothing but just scrolling on dramas all day. This might be the life for me. On weekends me and my families would go on a hike through the jungles in the evening to train our body. We hike high up to the mountains and we reach the top. The scenes of the sky are so beautiful, scattered lots of candy floss around, a patch of them floating on the sky.

I guess this is what my holiday would be like everyday. Simple, but things to do during the day without any boredom.

HOW I SPENT MY HOLIDAY?
Here came the most exciting time of the year for me! It was the year-end school break.Among all the holidays in a year ,I love year-end break the most . I love it so much because when the year-end break comes, I know, a new year and my birthday are coming.

Usually, I would travel to another country during the holidays but not this time.Due to the covid-19, many countries were under lockdown.Even some of the countries were not under lockdown, but they still did not allow the outsiders to travel or enter their countries. So for this holiday, I just stayed at home for most of the days. As what everyone else should be doing as well.

My home was my one and only comfort zone. Most of the days, I was just lying on my best friend, which was actually my bed while swiping Tiktok or Douyin, scrolling through Instagram to check on what was new , binge-watching some dramas and movies and of course, my favourite activity, eating .The drama that I enjoyed the most after watching so many different ones was the korean drama named True Beauty. It was literally so good. The female and male leads were all so pretty and handsome. The story plot was really entertaining for me .This drama is ending in another week and I really wished that they would have season two .

In December, it was not under lockdown, which is Movement Control Order (MCO), yet it was just under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). So, I went out but not often. I went out mainly for food . Everytime I went out, I always avoided crowded restaurants and places . It was because I was scared of catching the virus of course, secondly, I also tended to get awkward fast in public. I even felt that I lost the ability to talk to people besides those people I knew. That was also one of the reasons I kept staying at home instead of going out during CMCO.Besides, we also had some English class with Mr Eddie. The classes were pretty enjoyable and interesting actually.

On the 25th of December, it was Christmas ! Christmas had finally come ! Even though I did not celebrate Chritsmas,I liked how the cheerful and exciting atmosphere that was spreaded everywhere. It was a little special for this year, the school announced that the upcoming January will be a holiday month too! . I was so happy that I went running around my house to express my excitement when I heard the news.

In the blink of an eye, it was my birthday. The place where I lived was going to be under lockdown in three days because the cases of the covid-19 had reached around 3000. It was such a scary number ! So, I decided to celebrate it at home . The night before my birthday , I met my bestie through using Google Meet. We counted down for my birthday together and I received so many wishes . I appreciated everything that happened on that day and I felt blissful.

My January days were pretty boring , I did the same thing almost everyday. Besides handling my work given from the sports committee, most of the days, I just woke up to eat , play with my phone, procrastinate to do my homework, then I sleep .Until the last two weeks, more work were needed to be done and changed for the sports events due to the lockdown. The whole plan was changed! I needed to attend more meetings, present more presentations. It was very tiring, troublesome and stressful but I made it. I hope that all the hard work from the sports team will be paid off and the sports day will happen successfully.

That was how I spent my holiday !

<3 <3<3

'Dingggg…. Dingggg…' The "rooster" in my phone was croaking again. I turned my body around, stretched my right hand to my pillow side, picked up my phone and turned off the "roaster" vigorously. I frowned and squinted toward the time displayed on my phone, 8.00a.m.. The sun was high in the sky, shining towards my face and I could feel the heat from the sun calling me to get up quickly. I sat up in a daze, rubbed my eyes gently and looked at the calendar hanging on the wall. It was 31 of Jan 2021, the last day of the school holidays, school is going to start tomorrow.

Well, it just sounds like nothing to me. Due to the increase of covid cases, the one-month holiday was extended to two months. But… I have no idea what is the point for having this holiday? A holiday is supposed to be having fun with family, travelling all around the world, go shopping with friends, have parties and so on but because of this epidemic, the government has announced to extend mco. All of us can just stay at home without wandering around outside. So… how did I just spend my time during these two months?

Of course, for sure, I didn't even touch any of my books, either played with my phone or watched variety shows. I can feel that my brain is like a piece of white paper without any words on it, the screws and nails that used to make it function are beginning to rust down slowly. However, my vacation is still not that decadent. I did learn something new during my holiday as well.

During this holiday, I have no idea why I would just fall in love with baking. It might just because of me watching too much of people in china tiktok were baking different kind of scrumptious food and makes me started to have the feelings of learning baking. I used to think that baking was a very troublesome thing but just suddenly realized that it is actually a very interesting activity to do during free time. Although sometimes it will fail but the so-called "failure is the mother of success" as long as you keep trying, you will be successful.

Without a doubt, exercise is indispensable. I believe that most of the girls and women were also doing workout at home everyday during this mco right? Well, I know that people around me might say that

"Aiyo, so thin alr why still wanna keep fit"

or

"You're not suppose to keep fit now, you're still young, should eat more, if not how you grow taller and stronger,"

Well, for me, doing workout is not actually just to keep fit, it can also make us sweat, helps our bodies to release all the toxins. It also helps us to build up muscles and makes our flesh not that slack. At the same time, I did realise that keeping fit can actually help me to become more self-discipline and independent. Why did I just say so?

Before I started keeping fit, I would only get up when the sun was high in the sky and hit my 🤬. However when I start to keep fit, I always get up on time every morning before the alarm goes off. Besides, keeping fit also taught me to stick to the end and never give up easily. It taught me that no matter how difficult things I encounter, as long as I persist, there will be good results waiting in front of me.

On 12 of Jan 2021 while we were still having holiday, I had moved to my new house! It was like a new year, a new start for me. But seriously, moving to a new house is really a tiring thing. We had to clean up our new home, sorted all the things from the old house and put them in boxes, took the furniture back and forth several times to the new home. As we were moving during the epidemic, so the time was actually very tight, my parents were always worried that they might not have enough time to finish building on time. Those few weeks, I could really see the exhausted figures of my family members.

This was basically how I spent my 'holiday' during this mco. Simple, pleasant and fulfilling. Well, I hope my next holiday is not going to be with my house, the epidemic and my phone.

Holidays. This word brings memories of exciting, enjoyable experiences. This year though, the word may be used to express days filled with the fog of boredom, sorrow and captivity. If “exciting” and “enjoyable” are the first words that come to mind with this description, you must harbor a miserable life.

This holiday didn't feel remotely close to the holidays I’ve experienced in the past few years. Holidays in the past felt like a gift, where our hard work done on academics paid off finally for the one month of complete freedom. This time though, it just felt like a repeat of what we’ve experienced in 2020.

I think this statement resonates true to many people. Personally, 2020 felt like a blur. As if a heavy fog shrouded the whole of the year. Time for most was spent rotting away at our homes, nothing meaningful done. Yet for me, I have an interesting experience to share with you.

I have volunteered for the fundraising department for Oxburgh’s Sports Committee of 2020/2021. Initially thinking I was just going to be selling fried foods to students for a whole semester. But then Covid came along, and ruined my dreams of an easy-going student life.

I was then tasked with hosting a whole virtual fun run event from scratch. At the time I didn’t take it seriously enough, still not bothered of my responsibilities at all, thinking that this whole thing would be a fluke, and that we’re just wasting time. I spent a month of my time half-heartly planning for the event, leaving many things out of consideration.

When it was time to present the whole event plans to Ms Cheryl for confirmation, I wasn’t prepared for what was coming. A storm of critiques landed flat on my face when I realised this responsibility I was given isn’t just for show. Even my teachers in charge had a serious discussion with me, I was told that this event would show my capabilities as a student, carrying the school's whole reputation on my back. I snapped out of my immature and carefree reasoning with myself and started to work on this seriously.

After much needed discussion with the fundraising department, we decided the main objective of this whole fun run is to give out to the frontliners of Malaysia, who have been fighting hard to protect our community. I very much relate to this because Covid has really changed many lives, including mine, for the worse. This gave me the much needed dedication to take this responsibility seriously.

After many meeting-filled days and sleepless nights, my department have finally presented the Falentine’s Frontliners Virtual Run of 2021! Being part of this department really showed me what responsibility really is, and the reward it reaps. And hey, maybe you could join us too? I would really be looking forward for everyone to band together as the Oxburgh family to protect the community we dearly care for.

This was the longest term break that I ever had so I had decided to make it more interesting! My holiday started from the 10th of December 2020 till now. Throughout this holiday, I had accomplished many achievements.

I have learned how to cook many delicious foods throughout this holiday. When I first started cooking, my parents were petrified as youngsters nowadays are only keen on electronic devices. Nowadays watching youngsters -especially in between the age of 12 to 18- to do housework or chores are actually quite surprising. I cook many scrumptious foods such as mashed potato, pasta , pizza, french fries and more. Other than that, I also baked burned cheesecake with my mother.

In this long and boring holiday, my hobbies will make it more fun. In my opinion, listening to music is the most relaxing activity to carry out during such a boring holiday. In fect, playing musical instruments is more fun and exciting. I started learning piano when I was still in primary school. I played many songs and personally I enjoy it very much. I also played many songs on the guitar. Whenever I play a musical instrument, my father will join and play with me. Such an enjoyable and memorable moment.

During this holiday, the most exciting event that we have all been waiting for is obviously Christmas. We spent our Christmas and New Year in Penang in my cousin's house. We played many board games until the special time came “ and 3, 2, 1 ! Happy New Year!” The following day, we went to the beach and had a wonderful time. I ate many varieties of Penang food as it was mouthwatering. To be honest i really like to play with my cousin’s dog named Sugar. She is very adorable and fluffy. She is the cutest dog I have ever seen.

Of Course it wouldn’t be fun without playing games during the holidays. I played thrilling and exciting games which require response capability with my friends and siblings. Since this mco we were unable to meet up, chatting with my friends is a very fun thing to do as we can keep in touch with them. We had a great time watching some movies together.

Other than having fun, we also need to be serious about our studies. Since I decided to change school, this new term will be very challenging. It will be a brand new year for me.

Holidays are the best time of the year. It is the one time that you get to take a break from your books and gadgets allowing time to spend time with family and friends. In this long yet seemingly short and enjoyable period, you automatically get away from stress, increase your creativity and enhance or improve your intelligence. And most of all, it helps you create a bond and strengthen your relationships with everybody whom you care for whether it's your family, your pet or even your lover. We badly need a break from our boisterous lives at least once or twice a year but it feels as though everyday had been a holiday this year.

During my holiday i did not really get to go out. I spent most of my days at home doing nothing but watching television, playing board games with my family and hanging out with my friends. The first half of December I studied, however the other half I didn’t because I wanted books out of my sight so that I could relax and I was going to use these 2 weeks to celebrate Christmas. Usually every Christmas holidays my family and I would celebrate at my aunt’s but this year my friends and I had a small get together while following the government's SOP which stands for standard operating procedure. We watched "The Grinch" and we did secret Santa.

For my secret Santa I went to a mall with my cousin, we passed a shop that sells classy watches. So after I got that we went to Uniqlo to get some matching t-shirts and I won my first plushy in an arcade. Everyone collected their aesthetic bags except for me waiting for my turn to grab the bag that was sitting in the dark corner waiting to grasp my attention. I picked up my bag and a gold shiny glass bottle hit my eye. It was quite hard to see because of the light so I moved further away and took out the glass bottle, it was a perfume. I was really delighted with what I had because that perfume was exactly what I wanted.

The next event that occurred during my holidays was my birthday. We planned to go out for the whole day. My day began with hugs and a birthday song from my family. We decided to go to Pavillion to have brunch and shop for a bit. I bought a pair of white shoes for myself. I got my eyes checked to see if the power has increased or decreased because it has been 2.5 years since I have not checked my eyes and the power was the same which is a great thing I guess? But still I decided to change my glasses.

After I changed my glasses i went to the saloon and got a fresh new haircut. It was already 6 pm by the time I got my haircut, so we went to have dinner at this British-Indian grand ancient look alike restaurant called “British Raj”. They served really good food there, especially their butter chicken and naan. If you do not know what butter chicken is, it's basically a type of curry made of chicken in spiced tomato, butter and cream sauce and naan is a type of bread. Finally after dinner we ate some cake and left to head back home.

It was New Years eve. I went to my friends house for a countdown. All these years i would do New Years countdown with my family and this year i did it with my friends which is my first time. 3 hours before the countdown we were watching some horror movies and eating some popcorn. It was already 11:50 which means there was only 10 minutes to 2021. It was exciting because we finally got to move on from all these struggles that 2020 has given to everyone. Now it's 11:59 and the countdown began… ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one ...HAPPY NEW YEAR, everyone began screaming their lungs out as the firecrackers burst into the sky.

It was finally a new year. We talked for a while and it was already 1 o’clock so we said our goodbyes and left. I reached home and had a quick shower and I packed my bag as my family and I planned to go to Penang where my aunt’s house was to celebrate new year and the Christmas party that was left behind. We stayed at her house for 3 days and 2 nights. We had some barbecue and made some Indian dishes that my dad cooked. After eating we danced to some Indian songs. It was the last day and we headed back home and this was how I spent my holidays.

My school holidays were quite boring because of the lockdown. I can't go anywhere or go travelling or oversea to another country for enjoyment. And I just stay at home. Nothing to do, usually playing video games and watching television with my family day by day. And it also can’t go out like with a team of members. I was doing the same action and same things for the mco2.0. At the same time, I was hoping I could be free and do what I could do. I was hoping I could go out for a meeting with my friends. But the cases for getting infection of the amount the humans were keeping increasing and it was dangerous. And this makes me feel nervous and scared of getting the infection. At the moment, my parents suggested that I watch the lesson from the youtube. The video maker is called “ Jim Kwik”. And he was giving me a good experience and interesting for me. It was about better brain performance. This learning could be helping me in future learning, memory and reading. This process was divided into many episodes and now I am still watching it. And also in the lockdown, I also learn about editing video or posters. My friends were teaching me how to edit on the internet and finally I was successful in editing videos to make me eliminate boredom at all times. Therefore, while my mom has more freetime or nothing to do, she will ask me to cook or bake if I was interested, she would write the list of the food on the paper and call me going to the convenience store which is near my house to ask me to buy the food in the list. After I finished buying and came back home, she will start teaching me cooking and baking with careful step by step. After I finished cooking , I tasted the food and it was very tasty. Every food that goes through my mom's craft, it certainly will be delicious. Last, I hope everyone has made good use of time for life in the school holidays with their parents and this school holidays was really different as it was during the mco1.0 period. And now its was time to spending more time with my family as my parents are also working from home

I used to look forward to holidays every time, I could have all the free time to travel with my family and hang out with my friends; but this holiday was different, it just felt like a normal day everyday this holiday. Usually the thought of a one month holiday spikes my serotonin, but Mrs. Rona made this whole year feel like a holiday. This pandemic made everyday feel the same, now, holidays are just days like without the stress that school gives me.
During this one month holiday, I was a little excited, I was looking forward to maybe spending some time with my family without worrying about school work; but as time passed, I felt bored, I felt empty. During school days I have homework and classworks, but now I have nothing.
Having no responsibilities at all felt odd, I feel as if I'm slacking this whole month. Without all these responsibilities at school, the inner me is getting used to this daily dose of freedom and doing nothing all day. At that moment i didn’t think anything about this, in my mind it was just, “i can do whatever i want lol.” That was my mindset throughout the whole holiday.
After a month of slacking, the teacher announced that we will have another month of holidays because the SCHOOL wasn’t done renovating. Well what a good start to the new year. Starting off this year with this crappy mindset of mine. Great. New year new me? More like new year same me. At this point, new years eve doesn’t even feel special, it's just a normal day like always.
Anyways back to my holidays, I picked up a new hobby. Somehow my brain decided, “hmm baking clay and making them as ornaments sounds like a unique hobby, aight im going to have a sudden urge to spend all my money one clay,” little did i know that sudden burst of excitement for clay went away. Typical me. 40 ringgit went to waste.
This holiday made me know more about my personality and how I need stress in order to work and feel motivated. Basically this holiday was just me knowing more about myself and picking up on weird hobbies then losing interest on it after a week. Such a nice way to spend this holiday, hope i can be better this year.

Holidays. A word that brings a flood enjoyable experiences back. Unfortunately for these two months,
the word may be used to describe days filled with the fog of boredom, sorrow and captivity.
If anyone finds that even remotely enjoyable, something may be wrong in that head up there.

Due to the virus outbreak from the start of the year, we weren't allowed to go anywhere as the whole world was in lockdown.
So you can see this being quite boring. A whole year of online classes just to have it again after two months of holiday of captivity.
It's all basically the same just without the online classes.

On the other hand, I felt that I've done way more in the two months than I have in the past six to seven months of quarantine.
I’ve been more socially open and I found many new friends from online gaming.
I also found a new hobby when I learnt how to cook in the first week of the holiday.
Everything was delightful but it just wasn’t right, something is just off.

I felt like I was trapped in a room of captivity and I couldn't get out.
A space of relaxation and bondage.
Everyday just felt like it was missing something, I didn’t know if it was because of boredom or the lack of physical socialization.
One of my friends suggested that maybe I could listen to some music, and so I did.
Surprisingly, it worked quite well and I continued doing it to relieve my boredom.

My sister’s birthday was next month and we had plans to go out and have dinner and this would be the time that I could go out during the quarantine.
I was delighted but terrified at the same time because it still isn’t safe out there yet, but this still had many days to come.
At least I still had my friends and my music playlists to keep me company while this was coming.

A rush of adrenaline came in when I hopped in the car with my family, ecstatic to celebrate my sister’s birthday.
We later found out that the restaurant there was closed and we had no other choice to eat at home.
So this was just a massive mood change from ecstatic to disappointment.

After many disappointments of the holiday, this was easily the most depressing holiday that I had.
Many waves of problems that my hobbies cannot overcome, at least there were no online classes.
On the plus side, at least I found many things to do right?
I learnt a great lesson from this but I would never want to do this again.

How I spent my holiday in CMCO and MCO was pretty boring. All I did was being stuck at home doing absolutely nothing. My usual schedule would be me waking up at 9am in the morning and spend 3 hours in my room on my pc, at 12pm I would go and take a shower and go down stairs to have lunch and after that I would go back up stairs and be on my pc talking to friends and playing games with them or I would watch some game streams or read some manga online or watch anime but recently i haven’t been watching much anime because there was nothing interesting to watch or I would do some online reading different genres of books where i picked up doing only recently. But at around 4 to 5pm I would take an afternoon nap till 7pm and wake up. Sometimes I would take a nap earlier like 2 or 3pm and wake up 5 to 6pm. 7pm I would get up and take a shower and have dinner. I would have dinner earlier than anyone in my family because I have tuition but usually only on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, sometimes if my teachers aren’t free or I needed to do something it would change to either Saturday, Sunday or Monday. On Tuesday I would have Math tuition, Wednesday would be Chemistry, Thursday would be Chinese and Friday would be Malay. My sleep time used to be around 12am but nowadays I sleep around 1am to 2am. The only interesting thing that happened to me was on 23/1/2021 and 30/1/2021. On 23/1/2021 around 12:30am I got a call from a friend who wanted to talk to me about something and he said it was important. I answered his call and asked him what he wanted to talk about. He said he thinks he has developed a trust issue and he only noticed it three days ago and told me that he was drinking to sleep. I talk to him about it and ask him to talk to his parents but he refused due to him not trusting his parents the most so we went on for 2 hours and in between the 2 hours i asked my other friend to help me out and she asked him to just go to sleep and so we couldn’t solve his problem. On 30/1/2021 I had a haircut and that's pretty much my holiday.

Right after Covid-19 impacted Malaysia, everything went downhill. Classes went from physical to online . It kept on switching again and again. 2020 has been a tough year for everyone but what is the point of thinking about it repetitively. It was time for us to change and that’s exactly what I did. These 2 months have been life changing. Life was tough before but after this holiday , I felt different . I found myself being much relaxed and for once it felt like I didn’t have to worry about anything and I can just go with the flow.

When the lockdown started ,I became reserved. Right after classes when online it became even worse . I lost the connection I had with most of my friends and I only kept a well-knit friendship with 1 to 3 friends. It felt hard to do any work because my friends were my motivation. I realised that I always depended on my friends and I knew it was time to change.

During the holidays , I realised that the only person that was gonna stick with me till the end is me and my organs. I started taking care of myself and stopped worrying about how others were. It may sound like I’m selfish but that’s just the way life is. We have to prioritize ourself first.

Before life started , I always felt iypophrenia . Now , I feel like a new person. How you ask? The first thing I did was I started getting closer to my family. I consistently stayed in my room before holidays started but the second I came out I developed a stronger relationship with my family. I started talking to them more and they began to understand me for the way I am. Other than that , I used to spend very less time with my dog. Now , I am much closer to my dog . We go for walks every evening and play together in the front yard.I also had some me time , where I binge watched a whole entire series within days .

My holiday may not be very productive or an example than anyone should follow but it did make a difference to me . I have never been this happy and free spirited before. This holiday has made an amazing impact on how I changed my perspective on others. I hope there will be more holidays.

School holidays are the most awaited time in a student’s life, it is the time to rest, rejuvenate, and relax. Due to the unceasing increase of new daily cases in Malaysia, citizens are NOT allowed to travel, therefore, there were no plans for a vacation this Christmas. So… How did I survive for the 52 days (7.12.2020 - 27.1.2021), stuck at home?

My life began on the 7th of December. No alarm clocks, no assignments, only eat, sleep, play, eat, sleep, play, repeat. Yay! After all the tiring exams, I could finally watch the series that I eagerly wanted to for DECADES, ‘Stranger Things’, I looooved that it inspires viewers to not be afraid of taking risks and put goals into action. Furthermore, every episode always finishes with a cliffhanger, which made me stay up until 2-3 am to continue. Additionally, this series was not only produced for entertainment purpose, yet numerous lessons that could be applied to life. Apart from Stranger Things, I also watched other masterpieces on Netflix, for instance, The Hunger Games, Hotel del Luna, Charlie’s Angels, etc. To sum up, Stranger Things was my favourite and I can not wait for season 4 to be released.

What did I do for Christmas? The only special part is that my family and I went to ‘HaiDiLao’ (Chinese hotpot restaurant) for dinner and it was our first time. Besides, we were impressed with their outstanding customer services.

Needless to say, “New year, new me,” so I thought of changing my environment a little bit, therefore, I did a room makeover. It had been 7 years of me surrounded by pink wallpaper with Disney princesses printed on it, which made my room look dark and small. Hence, I tore it off and painted it white - speaking it precisely, it is called ‘Walden white’. The process was quite smooth, but it would be challenging without my parent’s help. Moreover, I was content that the result turned out to be spectacular, and grateful for having a new desk.

In conclusion, happy times fly rapidly. Instead of sitting in front of the computer, playing games, students like me can use this perfect opportunity to spend it with your loved ones (family), clean your room, find a hobby, more and more. This covid-19 pandemic has been going for one year plus, and I hope that it will bring to an end.

PUT YOUR CAMERA IN THE RIGHT POSITION! Ms Cherly shouted.

I can only use two words to describe my few months of holiday, BUSY and MESSY MEETINGS everyday. I couldn't take it anymore, I had so many things to get on with. I had presentations to work on and had at least 5 meetings per week just for training and ‘virtual sports day’ of my school. But i couldn't do anything about it to reduce the work because no one forced me to be on the sports committee, i volunteered myself so i had bare with it.

Of course besides meetings i still had other stuff to get done with, which is a video on our schools virtual sports day. By the way to the teacher who is reading this, remember to help me share the video on facebook and most importantly remember to add on the hashtag or else no mark will be counted. Alright so back to me, the fundraising group told us that they needed my department to complete the video in a day. ONE DAY! Seriously? Out of nowhere?

Just for this video i spent around 3 hours and i couldn't even count how many shots i've took, the worst part of it is when you think you're done and the fundraising group texts you and changes your whole script. I already had so many things to get ready with and now they changed the whole script when i'm done with the video. Isn't it just ridiculous? So after a 10 to 15 shots again i was finally over with the video. BUT it was only the video.

My teacher in charge of my trainers department was Ms Jaydee, just as i was done and thought i could get some rest she told me we were going to meet Ms Cheryl, who is one of the disciplinary teachers and also the one who is in charge of all these ‘sports stuffs’ the next day. Therefore we had another meeting to prep for our presentation, just by the prep there are already tons of mistakes and leaks in my speech. Out of no choice i had to force myself to get familiarize with the script again and ask question myself about our presentation. I went through my slides over and over again until god knows what time.

'OI you stupid or something ah? Got such a nice bed for you, you don't want to use, choose to sleep at the table. Very special ah kids nowadays.’

What a surprise, my mom came into my room early in the morning to check on me and sees me laying on my table and some saliva having a race with a snail on my chin. I got up, cleaned myself and got ready for the presentation in just one hour. Went through my slides for the last few rounds and Ms Jaydee sent an invitation to her zoom meeting, at this moment i knew it was the time to prove my hard work.

Fortunately, Ms Cheryl actually liked our presentation. Which was what i thought of, i know it also wasn't what you're expecting to see right? Too bad, my hard work paid off. After the meeting Ms Cheryl talked to Bill who is the assistant trainer and i about our team Hermes.

‘You guys will be meeting all the teachers, captains and house committees this Friday so i really hope that you all are well prepared for this Friday. Besides that definitely either one of you are going to lead our house in the future, maybe even the both of you might lead our house together, so i need the both of you to be very serious right now and take up this responsibility as a sports organizer.’

‘Bop-bop… bop-bop…’ my heart pounding imagining that i might be the captain of Hermes.

‘PUT YOUR CAMERA IN THE RIGHT POSITION! Do you guys hear me and understand what i said? Any questions?’

Her voice fading away, my vision getting blurry.

‘TIM WEI!!! Are you seriously sleeping in my class? How could you? I am literary in front of you and you still can fall asleep?

Isnt this Mr Eddie’s voice? It was all just a dream turns out i wasnt chosen to be a sports committee after all.

This month’s holiday may be the most special one I had . Normally, a holiday meant no school and I will look forward to staying at home or going out with my family for a gathering. But this holiday was different. As this Covid-19 pandemic is happening, we are forced to follow the SOP rules and our country went into lockdown.

During the holidays, I had a great time with my family. We had many activities together and I felt that I had a greater bond with them during the holidays. Every morning when we wake up, we would gather at the dining table to talk about what are the plans that we are going to do. For example, doing house chores, doing tuition homework or practising piano.

When I am doing the house chores, I realised that it wasn't as easy as it looked when my parents were doing it. When drying the clothes, I need to take the shirt, hook it with the hands of the hanger and hang it up to the drying rack. Doing it for about 50 times made my hand feel sore and a little painful. But after doing one house chore, I felt a sense of proudness and I was looking forward to doing the next task of the day.

Other than drying the clothes, I had done something which I couldn't believe I had done. I cooked dinner for my family. Although it takes a long time to cook, I find cooking very fun and it could be a form of entertainment. Cooking is very interesting. When I add some different ingredients, the taste of the food would be different either by being nicer or not nice. I was satisfied by what I cooked that night, which are vegetables, chicken and onion eggs.

When the news said that we are able to go out, I was very excited. On the first day, my family immediately went out shopping and ate dinner which has not been eaten for months. When I sat in the car, I felt very happy for some reason and I was calling my parents to slow down because I felt that it was too fast. Surprisingly my parents were just driving at a speed of 50m/h. From there, I realised how grateful I was for being able to eat outside restaurants and have a family which can support life.

At home, my family and I also had movie time together. It was very rare for me to have everyone in the family to watch a movie as my father alway needed to go to work and as a result, he would not be able to join my mother, sister and I to watch movies.

I had a great holiday and was able to spend more time with my parents which made me more happy. Although during the pandemic we had suffer a lot but I felt thankful that I was able to have more happy time with my family.

Since I was a kid, my school holidays usually ended up quite fun and memorable. Apparently neither a fulfilling holiday nor a meaningful one. As for a memorable holiday, we normally had a vacation overseas to spend my holidays. However we know that the pandemic is going on, we’ve been encouraged to stay home. So, I’ve less hope and excitement towards my “winter break” since the plan of going on a holiday vacation was not realistic. But since it was not the first time having such a long term break during a pandemic period, I sure must have expected how it was going to be. It was not that great, but it seems like it went a lot worse than I expected. When I heard of writing an essay on how I spent my two months’ school holiday, I really had no idea what to share. No one would want to know, it was quite boring incase you were expecting a good one, all I did was stay at home and “wasting” the days.

To be honest, it was not bad on the first month of my holiday. Seeing that it was before the pandemic in the country had gotten to a serious position, compared to now. The citizens were allowed to travel interstate, from one state to another. This indicates that I did travel to the other places and states, at least. However, I still stayed at home for most of the time. Holiday is the period that I could spend more time on doing things that I loved. Especially when I was spending my hour just at home, I can spend more time with my family, trying and learning new things too.

The happiest time I ever had during this holiday is with my grandparents, in their remote hometown. They live in a rural area, neither the refreshing air nor the relaxing pace of life can I experience in a city area. I’ve experienced the lifestyle without network or internet connections, it was the first time that I felt a day could be so fulfilling without phones around. I was totally isolated from knowing what was happening around the world. Living with my grandparents was great, learning about their lifestyles, as well as their entertainment. It was so simple. I will never regret the time staying with them, and experiencing their basic lifestyle in a rural area.

When it comes to the beginning of the new year, the pandemic in the country is getting serious. Looking at the innovative number of patients diagnosed with viruses, the increase of numbers like it was not going to end. Without any better choices, the states are officially announced lockdown. My “night terrors” are back again. So, I spent the rest of my holidays laying at home. It was quite boring actually, but I tried to entertain myself up. Wondering how the world is outside now.

What are school holidays? School holidays are periods in which schools are closed, allowing students to rest from the stressful work. All of us spent our holidays doing what we love most. How did I spend my school holidays? Let me tell you. On the last day of school, I eagerly waited for the last period to finish before my holidays started .After the teacher dismissed us, I was free for a whole month. I felt like a bird free from the cage. On the first week of my holidays , my schedule was filled with tuition and work. I was also worried about my grades. My grades aren't that good, so I had to take a few extra tuitions like malay , english and more. I had extra english tuition from school too. During the night, I would play video games. Sometimes, i watch movies too. Then Christmas was near. But I wasn't in a festive mood anyways. For this Christmas, my family planned to go to japan. But because of a virus outbreak, we decided to stay home for christmas. I was disappointed but i had fun at home. I studied when I had to and played when I could. I wasn't able to go out, so at the end of the week I went to the mall to see the outside world. Then came christmas. I spent 3 days in my friend's house for a sleepover. Over there, we watched anime and played games. The next day,my mom suggested me to cook a meal for Christmas, so we went out and bought the ingredients. Then, on christmas eve, i attended a party at my friends house. On christmas, I cooked Japanese curry. Then on the last day before 2021 started we had a countdown at home. I played games with my online friends that night. Then came january. We were supposed to have school physically. Because of the virus, the principal gave us an extra month of holidays. My house was under construction and our dog isn't feeling well so we took it to the vet. While I waited in the car with my mom, I was lectured about my grades. And i had to take it more seriously. So i started doing revision. We couldnt visit our relatives house for new years because there was a global pandemic outside known as covid-19. I wasn't able to play games because of my bad results, so i chatted with my online friends and studied. Then my mom brought me to my new school and visited it. Then our country had a lockdown because too many people were getting the virus. Then just a few days ago, I went to the dentist. When I was waiting in the lobby, I was in distress. After the visit, I went home fine. And that's how I spent my holidays. In conclusion, my holidays was spent getting closer to myself and my family.

The word “holiday” can remind us of the good times during pleasurable events. I could describe the holiday as a fun and exciting period. But this time things didn't go as planned. It started off with the fatal and infectious virus outbreak in China, the number of cases gradually increased around the world. Due to this we were forced into a lockdown and we weren't allowed to cluster.

These two months were not like any other holidays in the past. It was filled with boredom.I felt like I was doing the same routine over and over again. It was much more difficult doing tasks at home rather than outside for example It is much more convenient to eat out than to cook at home because there were more chores to be done.

However, I would like to share that i have picked up three hobbies: baking, chess and cycling

Firstly, Baking was my favourite pastime and a way to release stress during the lockdown. My Aunt Nora got me into baking. She started teaching me the basics of baking, and slowly moved on to explaining the importance of yeast. After teaching, she demonstrated how to do it. I loved the aroma of the bread when she took it out of the oven. Now, I bake daily because i want to be a professional baker.

Secondly, I picked up chess by watching a chess competition on the television. It is a board game of strategic skill for two players. I began by reading a manual about chess online. I enjoyed playing chess because of the unique movements each piece has. This board game is also beneficial for your memory and processing speed. From chess I have learned to be unpredictable and read the opponent's mind.

Lastly, I like cycling around the neighbourhood because it helps me release stress. Cycling is also beneficial because it is an easy method to live healthily. It is also better for the environment as it does not run on any fuel. Plus, cycling helps you to get to places much quicker and easier.

In conclusion. During this holiday, I have learned that spending time with family is very important. But if we want to have better holidays like in the past, we have to work together to stop the virus from spreading.

Last holiday, my family decided to visit my grandparents in Taiping, we arrived at an unfortunate timing as my uncle was tested positive for covid 19 the third day we arrived, therefore prolonging our stay in taiping to 14 days. We were very bummed out as we were not able to travel around Taiping as we were planning to do. After my uncle was admitted to the hospital, we spent the day cleaning and disinfecting everything to prevent spreading of the virus.

Even though we are confined inside our house because of quarantine, we tried our best to make our stay here feel like a holiday. In the evening me and my cousins set up tiny tents at my grandparents' orchard and pretended that we are camping in the deep rain forests, my father set up a campfire for us to roast meats and veggies. My grandfather, having been a scouts guide before, taught us how to cook stew and noodles on the fire. It was fun cooking on an open fire as we use induction stoves back home. After dinner, me and my cousins set up a makeshift cinema and watched movies on the projector till midnight. I was very happy as I never got to do these kinds of activities back in Kuala Lumpur.

During our holiday there, me and my cousins helped our grandparents with the garden work in exchange for grandmother’s handmade snacks. In the evenings, we helped grandfather by herding his cows to a nearby field to let them graze on the grass. We also got to ride our bikes in the orchard. During the rainy days we played in the mud, we also competed on how many creatures we can find in the garden, it was something I never got to do in Kuala Lumpur as we don’t have any backyards to play in.

After we passed the final covid tests, we went to a park nearby to take some pictures of it. There were plenty of colourful flowers in the park. We also found some pretty butterflies that are fluttering about in the park. My family also brought us to eat Ais Kacang at a famous local restaurant. I enjoyed it very much as it was the first dessert I ate since quarantine.
Fun times always come to an end and it was time to go home. I was relieved as even though I had a blast during my holidays at my grandparents’ house, I had started to miss my home, after we packed our belongings and gave our farewells to our grandparents, we got on the road back home eagerly. The unexpected prolonged stay in Taiping had made me feel closer to my grandparents who I could not often visit and I would love to visit them again during the holidays.

“Ka...ka…” the door was unlocked by someone who has my house key .“Come and help me BOY!”My father dragged his legs into my house while holding a small box . I was so curious aboutwhat was inside the box , my head was full with question marks . My father started to cookfor our dinner .“Come and eat dinner!” my father shouted with a deep voice. While we were eating dinner , my younger brother and I discussed about the small box. After dinner , my younger brother couldn’t wait anymore .“Dad what was in the box?” asked my younger brother while holding the bot and frowninghis forehead.“Open and see.”answered my father .“It’s a DRONE!”We couldn't wait anymore , we wanted to try it now . But nothing was perfect , the dronecontroller has no battery . We spent too much time just for the battery , the time we wantedto try how the drone was, in the garden nearby our house was too late . It was so darkoutside , by the way nothing can stop us . We bring two spotlights to the garden just to trythe drone .“My legs were so itchy.”said my younger with a impatient face .“Just try it , FAST ……”The drone had landed itself because of low battery . We have nothing to do with this , wewent back home and started to charged with the battery . The next morning we go to thegarden and try one more time. We were so unlucky the drone flew too high maybe becauseof too much battery . We couldn't control the drone…“I have already been telling you guys not to fly so high! Why didn't you listen ! I spent ahundred on the drone and you took two days to break it !”We sincerely apologised to my father .In the end , our drone has been stored on the rooftop of other houses.

“We implement the MCO until Feb 4 and follow up with the conditional MCO.”

My friends and I were watching the live declaration of the MCO 2.0 on youtube. I wasn’t sure if I felt happy or sad. There were good sides and also bad sides. I didn’t know how to react to my friends. I sat there doing nothing and didn’t say a single word to them.

“I guess I have to stay home for another month,” thinking to myself.

It isn’t the first time that I have to stay home for over a month. In fact, MCO 1.0 was more than 5 month. I definitely can bear another month right? Every single day was the same. It was boring from day to night. Sleep. Eat. Game. Repeat. If there is no covid, I would probably be in Japan right now, enjoying everyday with my family. Snow falling down sticking on the ground. I would have the time of my life.

It's alright, there will be no school anyways. I can do anything I want to do. My friends and I hopped on to a discord call the next morning. We were clueless on what we were going to do.

“Yo boys, what about we play a new game?” Chai suggested.
“Bro, all your game choices are anime and they are boring,” Hong Chen replied.
“OI, WHAT U MEAN? THEY AREN’T BORING. YOU JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO APPRECIATE THEM,” Chai screamed.
“Boys, relax la. First day of holiday sia, don’t angry la,” said Zach
“Ok ok, what about we find some other discord server and talk to some new friends from different countries?” Chai suggested again.
“Can also, u guys down?” I replied
"Yea, sure, sure" said Hong Chen and Zach.

We asked our online friends if they have any discord server that has full of active people in it. One of my closest online friends replied with a yes and at the same time, the server is from Vietnam.

"Yo, people in here are friendly and make sure your friend and u are friendly to them too, or else they are going to kick you out of the server" said my online friend
"Thanks, don't worry, my friends are friendly too," I replied.

He invited us to the server and as soon as we stepped into the server, there were more than 10 people welcoming us in and we felt special, at least I do. I've never been into a discord server this friendly. My friend and I talked to several people in the server and they were very friendly and fun to talk with. Talking to Vietnamese people is never ending. We added some people and we had lots of fun playing games with them.

Holidays. A word that brings a flood enjoyable experiences back. Unfortunately for these two months, the word may be used to describe days filled with the fog of boredom, sorrow and captivity.
If anyone finds that even remotely enjoyable, something may be wrong in that head up there.

Due to the virus outbreak from the start of the year, we weren't allowed to go anywhere as the whole world was in lock down.

Holidays… looks like a day which we can really enjoy ourselves and forget about work, but not this holiday. Due to the outbreak of a virus called “coronavirus” (Covid 19) we are forced to stay at home and not gather with others in order to not be involved with the virus. For 2 months, I had nothing to do other than just staying at home. It’s December 1 when the lockdown and school holidays occured, my birthday was on the 5th of December right in the middle of the lockdown. I had plans of where to go during my birthday such as travel and partying or maybe even a gathering with my friends, and now everything is ruined I guess… besides that I thought that during the lockdowns I could find something interesting to do.

Interestingly, a lot of creative activities had come into my mind during the lockdown -baking, yoga, cooking, gardening, studying and trying out new foods but, I had spent my first month just as any person would do which is doing nothing, besides the nerds. I had spent less time on my books to the point that I could not remember what is 1+1, I tried new sports such as badminton to kill time. Badminton was the sport that I really wanted to try out for a long time. I learned the basic rules of badminton and how to hold a racket properly. Besides that, I’ve tried baking as well but when I was opening the oven, the tip of the oven burned my finger, from that day onwards I did not not have the audacity to touch the oven again...welp.

So basically, I spend my holiday/lockdown at home with my family. Although I couldn’t spend my holiday outside, traveling to other countries, I still enjoy staying at home studying, learning new things. I did feel a sea of change in the first two week of lockdown, but I realised that the best resource is to keep going and do not give up. I loved that lockdown had taught us so much, bringing me closer to my family.

Majority of people on Earth are meat eaters. People consume meat everyday, every meal. There are only eight percent of people on Earth who are vegetarians . And did you know? By the year 2050, global meat consumption will reach between 460 million tons and 570 million tons. People grow up eating meat, one of reasons might be because their environment influences them to do so .But have the meat eaters, ever thought of or ask themselves questions like ‘’Is it right to eat meat?’ ,’is this a crime that is just normalized by people ?’’ , ‘’ should I stop eating meat?’’ in our lives? Well, I do think people thought of that but they just cannot stop themselves from eating it especially when eating meat has become a habit , an essential food to them or maybe, they just cannot find any reason to convince themselves to stop consuming meat . Why are we eating meat for?Yes, meat is definitely delicious. People also say that we need to eat meat so that our bodies can get the nutrients in meat to grow , to be stronger or to be healthier. But what if I tell you we do not actually need meat .Vegetables like eggplants and some non-meat food like tofu can also have the same nutrients as meat , which means those food can replace meat. So now we see,we can eat vegetables, fruits, and nuts rather than meat. And because we consider ourselves noble, we have never been equal, and we have never thought about animals that have the same life as us. We misunderstand their emotions. Deny their meaning of existence and think that the existence of other animals is for our taste. We are humans , we are also a kind of animal. If we are animals and we are killing other animals and eating them,to some extent, are not we actually committing a crime but it is normalized by people and no one feels that it is wrong. So, have you ever wondered what animals think and do they have emotions like humans?Think of your pet , a dog for instance. They will feel sad if you scold them . They feel upset too if they see that you are sad. They shake their tails to show that they are happy if you feed them snacks. Not just dogs, all the other animals have emotions too. They know who their friends are , their family members and their partners too. They just do not have the ability to tell humans how they feel , it does not mean they are emotionless. They are also living things, they breathe, eat ,sleep , communicate with their friends just like humans do. Humans are not the only animals that love one another,we are not the only kind of animal that are able to feel. Are we indirectly destroying our motherland, Earth by eating meat? The world’s population is at 7.8 billion and it is increasing day by day.At the same time, the meat eaters are increasing too, which also means that the animal breeders need to breed more animals like chickens, pigs, cows, goats and more for the meat-eaters.More animals are breeded, more carbon dioxide ,methane and other greenhouse gases will be produced. It might make global warming become more serious and end the Earth sooner. After all, it is still your life. You have the freedom to choose to eat meat or be a vegetarian. But to put it another way , isn't it better if we start to consider the animals more.Maybe one day , by eating less meat ,we could stop animal-cruelty too,who knows?

Meat is part of the source of food that we should be having in our lives. Meat gives us energy, gives us nutrients and more to go. Nutrient dense food provides important amounts of protein, essential amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that are the most common nutrient shortages in the world, including vitamin A, iron, and zinc. Meat could be our most important basic needs in our lives.

You could be thinking that whether we have the right to eat animals is ethical. If humans are selfish in not breeding animals, we won't have meat as our food. On the other hand humans will have second thoughts about going hunt on animals for food. But this makes it worse, the more you hunt the wild animal the lesser the animal appears. This could happen to make an animal become extinct in the world. For now we are safe and lucky to have factories that produce meat to the supermarket every single day.

Then why is eating meat unethical. Well by lowering the amount of meat people consume, it will decrease the amount of torture animals go through. It's unethical for people to eat meat considering humans don't do it out of survival, they do it out of enjoyment. Therefore should consider more plant based diets. Humans are selfish and since human survival is not at stake, eating meat is unethical, and people should go back to living off of a plant-based diet like our ancestors.

Moreover If you accept that animals have rights, raising and killing animals for food is morally wrong. An animal raised for food is being used by others rather than being respected for itself. Modern agriculture often violates other key animal interests as well for example: like to live in nature freely, free from fear and pain…

Other than that many human beings don't believe animals have rights as they think that animals are useless, but do think that animals have important interests that should not be violated. But some of these people enjoy eating meat and fish, and so face a conflict between animal and human interests: the trivial human interest in eating meat versus the basic animal interest in staying alive.

In conclusion, there are positive points and negative points on this. People know killing animals is not good but we can’t all stop from it. In this world you will know that there are millions of animals. We eat meat to live although some are vegetarian but not all. There are no rights or wrongs in food conditions that we need in our basic life.

In most of the societies in the world, the argument is whether eating animals is ethical? So should the human race stop eating meat or whether this action is morally and ethically acceptable. I’m not saying that eating meat is a hundred percent good and correct nor saying that vegetarians are more healthier than meat eaters, everyone has their own choice of what they want to eat. Some nutrients cannot be provided by vegetables but can be in animal meat. Vegetarians usually base their argument on the moral and ethical implications of eating animal meat and that animals are caused suffering in the quest to feed the human population.
Animal meat has all necessary nutrients, especially protein that is necessary for the human body to grow and function normally. Besides that, it also plays a vital role in the brian development as not all vegetables have these functions. Some animals are getting over populated in our world so by eating them can also control the number of growth of that particular animal.
Animal’s do have emotions but they’re different from humans, it's the same as how they are in the food chain, from the producers to primary consumers to the secondary consumers to the tertiary consumers then finally to us humans. It's a food chain that most of us follow. Of course being a vegetarian isn't bad at all but there isn't anything wrong for eating meat. It's just up to the person whose eating it's their choice we couldn't force people to do what they don't want to, even if we make it as a rule people are still going to eat meat like how people are still breaking rules now.
I agree animals do have emotions but when we’re eating it we wouldn't think about how it felt before it was in a plate in front of us right? Our ancestors started to hunt down animals to eat them a few thousand years ago, and it's because vegetables couldn't satisfy them that's why they hunted for animals. It was also their main source of energy back then, and it's still the same until today because it still is our main source of energy in order for us to work continuously for a day.
We have started eating animals for such a long time that it has become one of the main jobs and a part of the economy too. If everyone became vegetarians it would affect the economy and many people would lose their jobs, many people would starve to death because they don't have money to get food. Not only starvation, 97 present of the earth are liquids and thus we only have 3 percent of land. If everyone turns vegetarian there wouldn’t be enough space to grow crops and not enough fresh water to water the plant nor crops, and as a result many other people are also not going to get food especially those in poverty.

In this century , some of the people think that eating animals is ethical . But in my opinion , i think that eating animals is unethical . In the following paragraph I would like to talk about why eating animals is unethical . Eating animals for nutrients , animal’s emotions are not similar human’s , part of the food chain , the economy will go down , these are four of my reasons why eating animals is unethical .
First , eating animals is unethical because humans need nutrients from animals . Humans need nutrients to keep their body growing and functioning normally . Some of the humans may need more nutrients depending on their amount of exercise .We can help to control the population of animals while eating them .
Second , eating animals is unethical because they are part of the food chain . It’s become natural for humans to eat animals. Most of the humans can’t really live without animals , they have been eating animals for a long time so it's become a habit . Humans are hunting animals so many times , even though they are not eating animals , because everyone needs some things from the animal's body , for example skin and meat .
Third , eating animals is unethical because the economy will go down . Everyone has their rice bowl , the same as a hunter and the one who sold animal meat , skin for people who need it . While they are doing this kind of business , they are actually raising the economy for their country . 31% of the population is considered vegetarian , and the rest of the 69% need to eat animals for their health . Imagine that if one day 69% of people are not buying animals any more , how many people will go bankrupt .
Eating animals has already become part of our life ,most of the people who live on earth can’t really live without animals . If everyone becomes vegetarian , a lot of people will go bankrupt because that animal has already become a part of the economy . Most of the people will died because of no money for food , living place and daily necessities .

Is eating animals ethical or not ethical ? This research has been going on for years and years. It has come to the point where there are no correct answers and it all just depends on your choice. We can’t force others to change what they believe. It’s tough and that is why it all just depends on what you select. I strongly believe that eating animals is ethical. Even though I do select one side of the story , I do respect , understand and acknowledge those who choose the other side of this argument. I chose that eating animals is ethical and the particular reason for the circumstances are because I personally eat animals.
The exact purpose of why I choose to eat animals is because if one day everyone stops eating them the economy will collapse rapidly. This is because most industrial production is just for processing meat. If it suddenly just stops , there will be no more price value in the market. Everything will turn upside down. Most companies will start to shut down. As they start to shut down , we have to start adapting to the new changes and whether you want to believe it or not it will definitely take time for the society to go back to its natural state.
Those in the opposite party , would definitely state that “humans must have evolved. We must have had technology to afford not to eat animals.” Some might even say that “plant based food has its own sort of nutrients.” And there is no point in eating animals when plants supply the same amount and type of nutrients.
Well first of all, do we have the technology that can help us out? If we did, wouldn’t we all be only eating plant based food? Next , why is it that we have to change to eating plants. We have animals to supply us with nutrients and the best part is it's much more tastier. Why eat something that has no taste but contains nutrients , when you can eat animals that have the same amount of nutrients and much more tastier. Some might say humans are selfish and they always put themselves first. To be honest , who wouldn’t. Other than that, humans naturally have to eat animals to stabilize the food chain. If humans do not eat those animals the amount of prey will reduce , causing the number of predators to reduce. Most animals that are on the endangered list are predators. Therefore concluding that it's alright that humans eat animals , as they help maintain the food chain.
To sum up everything that has been stated , it is ok to eat animals and to not eat animals. It all just ends up on which side you choose to stay on . There are no rights and wrong as both sides each contain their pros and cons. As stated before , this is a personal perspective on how I view this argument. We can all have our own choices , just as long as we do not displease the opposite party.
507 words
