Remake of Teachers on film & conformity by Amber Brouillard

Taking into consideration the two varying teaching methods of the teachers in the last few slides, discuss how you believe the students in their classes would learn.

Who would you say is the more effective teacher (in ways of [1.] inspiration, [2.] student discipline, and [3.] teacher/student relationships)? Use details from the videos to support your opinion and explain thoroughly.
**It will be interesting to see how you and your classmates will answer. Collaborate with a neighbor to talk some things out if you’d like before giving your response. APPROPRIATE ANSWERS ONLY! ANYTHING INAPPROPRIATE WILL BE DEALT WITH ACCORDINGLY INCLUDING ANY AND ALL DISCIPLINARY ACTION.

Based on ways of inspiration, discipline, and teacher/student relationships, I would say that the teacher seen in "Another Brick in the Wall" has less effectiveness in teaching than the teacher from the second video. The teacher from the second video spoke of uniqueness and the boys that "started off at their own stride". No discipline was shown in this video as the teacher seemed to bond with his students, allowing them to walk as silly or slouched as they please. He let them differ in behavior, expressing themselves in a way the first video of "Another Brick in the Wall" lacks. Conformity keeps us from being us.

I would say that Robin Williams did a way better job than the first teacher because he actually cared about the students and taught them well. Inspiration: He used quotes. Student Discipline: He was teaching them the "I Don't Know What I've Been Told" march. Teacher/Student Relationships: Even though most of the people roamed the courtyard, Robin let that one student just stand there and "exercise" the right to not walk. That has to do with relationships because a true friend lets you do what others don't, and they don't make you conform. And that's what Robin did.

I think the second teacher is better because he is lead the students and taught the to follow their own footsteps while the first teacher is telling them they don't need to think just to follow his footsteps. I think the second teacher inspires them to follow their own footsteps and not to follows other so they don't have to feel insecure or let out. The second teacher said to one student can support the act of not walking and he mean't that each person can support a different type of walking so he let him support his no walking decision. The student that got in trouble for writing poems in the 'Another Brick in the Wall" was mad at his teacher for popping him at the ruler and their bond isn't even bonded and they dislike each other. he second video shows the teacher is cool and lets one not walk to support the no walk and he has a nice bond with his students.
