I found it interesting that it was split into different sections and the story gave me Dickinson/Poe vibes. The deaths of both Homer and Emily were very mysterious and left me curious but I also wonder what happened with the Baptist minister to the point he couldn't talk about it.

This story was full of unexpected plot twists and weird tangents. I expected the death of Homer, but the very end just grossed me out a lot. I'm curious to know how he died and what role the arsenic plays in the storyline. I also find it interesting that the servant stayed with her all these years and refused to talk to anyone. He must have seen some weird things.
