The first thing we did were to go to the cow shed and milk the cows. Then we helped the mother to wash clothes. At 12 o'clock we made lunch for the family. Before we ate, everybody had to say grace. For the rest of the afternoon we helped the father on the fields. When it got dark outside, we knitted socks and helped the mother to tuck up the kids. Before we went to bed we had to say a prayer.

The Amish way of living is a bit odd for modern society.  It's good to take a break from the Internet and Social media. It was hard to wake up so early and the manual work was a stain. Today we woke up early and we ate breakfast and the we went to the farm and milked the cows. Later we took the horse and the buggy to the market and bought some food for the dinner. We helped to cook the dinner and before we ate we said a grace. Then we went to bed at 9pm. Goodnight :)

The day starts with work on the fields. The work is a lot of manual work like shoveling manure. At lunch we are always saying grace before eating. After eating lunch we continue working on the farm and in the cow shed. In the evening we go to the church and sing with our friends. When I leave the church Joseph gives me a ride home in his buggy and he stays until midnight. Now it's time to sleep, early morning tomorrow.

The cat woke me up with his paw, and I felt joy, because now I had got 8 hours of sleep. I put on my favourite song(TikTok by Ke$ha) but my amish family climbed in through my window with a ladder and turned my music off. I felt like a failure.
So I started my day at the farm, and all I could think about was "What would Ke$ha do?". But the day finally ended, and I put my prettiest dress on. It was still ugly. Now it was time for a partaaaayy!!!!!!!
The party ended at ten o'clock and I entered my boyfriend's buggy, and then we went to my place. ;) And there we sat, looking at each other until midnight. It was a romantic night, I must say.
Tomorrow is sunday, that is god's day. We helped the mother of the family to make breakfast. After breakfast we went to harvest corn with the family father. That took until lunch time. Before eating we always said grace. After lunch we went to the farmers market and sold some of our crops and delicacies. People these days really like Amish food. We are going to bed at nine o'clock because we are getting ready to leave at seven o'clock tomorrow morning. They lived very far out in the countryside, and when we went there we saw no cars only buggys.
When we got there we met the family they had six kids and the grandparents lived in the house also.
They showed us their yard with animals and that was very fun.
Frida said she loved to milk the cows.
The oldest kids had the rumspringa one boy and a girl from the family. They were twins.
 
We went out with them and escaped from the farm and we partied and they never returned to the farm.

Frida loved the cows so much that she went back to milk them but I escaped with the Amish kids.

The part we will never forget about the trip is when me and puli were asleep in a barn and suddenly we were surrounded by the Amish family.
