I found them helpful in terms of enhancing my memories, although a little boring. The online test also enhanced my memory on different endings, but I think I still need more practice to become more confident about this.

I did a lot of recap from the start as it required, which took me a long time to answer all the questions. That is necessary for me but a bit time-wasting to redo everything from the start. But on a whole these revisions help me build up my confidence in German.

I continue using this app this year. There are more and more conversations that covers various vocabularies, such as colours, vehicles, animals, etc. For those topic that has been covered in class, I found it extremely helpful as a revision. But for this time, my conversation is about animals, about which I did not know before, I found it quite hard to follow.

I watched 1 episode with a Chinese-German subtitle so it helped me to better comprehend.
The speed is a little bit fast for me, so that some times I can only watch the Chinese subtitle, so I watched it twice. I got a general idea of how German speak in their daily life and also I found myself able to understand basic greetings really well.

I think watching a German show really helps me to get my head into German, although I'm not able to understand most of it as a lack of vocab and practice.
This time I was also trying to catch the phrases that I understand, like how to describe dates and time, and some grammar structure.

This episode is about breakfast -

das Frühstücksei. From the subtitles I learned some new adjectives such as halt - hard and weich - soft. The lines are sometimes quite repetitive so that it is easier for me to remember new words.

I also get to familiarize some grammar through the episode.

During this Easter I went to Munich for two days. In these two days I tried to start simple conversations with the locals such as order food, as well as daily greetings. At night I use Duolingo to keep learning and recapping knowledge.
Also, I kept trying to read menus and noticeboard in German. It was difficult and slow, but I gained satisfaction after understanding these information.
After this trip I became more interested in German.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BIOpEeZgJc

I watched this DeutschOnlineLerne lessons 18-21. I feel this is more of a revision of how to formulate questions, which is useful and related to what I've been doing in classes. Also, these lessons covered some prepositions like "mit", which is a good reminder of dative, accusative and two way prepositions. After watching and taking down some notes, I feel more confident about the use of different cases and questions, and also it filled me in with more vocabulary. However I think I'm still confused with the use of preposition and I should find some information about it sometime.
