My favorite memory with Carl is when we went out for our friends birthday. That day, he and a friend of mine had to review for the ACET but we were stuck in traffic. Hence, they reviewed in my car as we went through the traffic. Then, they were debating whether they should go home early to get rested for the ACET or stay out late. They decided to do the latter, so Carl decided to yell out of my car's sunroof, "I WANNA GO OUT!" People were looking at him like he was crazy but it was hilarious.

My favorite memory with Carl is when I reconnected with him for the first time since the pandemic hit. I'd known him for around 2-3 years at this point and I wasn't as close to him then as I would have liked. But after coincidentally making some mutual friends, we had met up again and it was like I was seeing a changed man. From then, we'd spend a few nights (and a few 5 AM's) catching up and becoming great friends. I won't forget it any time soon.

My favorite memory with Carl is AJMA Week 2020 Game Night. I have a lot of good memories with Carl, but I chose this memory because this was the start of our friendship. We weren't close back then, but if it wasn't for that event and pairing, I wouldn't have met him or have gotten the chance to become his friend (napaka privilege po kasi). We really worked hard for that event and that was also my first time I got inis to him. He was a very slow replier, was frequently MIA, and his "HAHAs" were in small caps (i mean who does that??). But yes I worked closely with him and even after that event, we were still able to catch up and work together again in the same event! And yet again, same scenario. ANG BAGAL PA DIN MAGREPLY!
