I, as an educator, must understand that my students come from diverse backgrounds that influence them and their educational experiences. Different factors that my pupils experience establish their identity, learning patterns, and development, and which varies them from each other. I must also be aware that it is my responsibility to work with the differentiations of my students so that they can learn to their best ability. If I were to neglect these differences of my students as a teacher, it would be my fault that the pupils didn't or couldn't learn to their full capacity. An advanced application of this context would be that I as a teacher took the opportunity to become involved with the school and community outside of my primary job.

Context relates to bullying and violence at home because that is the actual and realistic background and community that influences a student. Understanding that some students of mine could have abusive home lives will allow me to grant forgiveness for behaviors and try and help them in anyway I am allowed to. Through this understanding, I can provide a safe environment for my classroom, and perhaps a safer life for my student.
