         <description><![CDATA[<div>We had a great time visiting 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders at an elementary school in Bucks County, Pennsylvania today! Kathleen led us in the Speech Detectives activity and also told the students about her research using a special computer that measures where people look while they hear sentences. The future language scientists asked great questions and did a great job creating, testing, and revising hypotheses!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>High school students in general psychology loved the Speech Detectives activity and enjoyed learning about careers as speech-language pathologists. Students asked great questions about work settings and were particularly interested in learning about providing in-home early intervention services. We also talked about eye-tracking research methods and how scientists can tell what predictions listeners make based on what pictures they look at.</div>]]></description>
