My favorite part of the book is the memories of the old man.  This part tells that the old man came to the city because the place where he used to live was destroyed by the giants. He took his wife to the tunnel and escaped.  Later,his wife exchanged a route from a stranger to other cities using her neck. When they reached the destination,the dark painting becomes brighter,and I admire the lucky of the old man has.
