I've been to 13 countries so far, and I hope to make it 14 very soon, as I plan to visit the Philippines in the summer. I also enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, hiking, going to the beach, and most of all spending time with my family. I love meeting my students and helping them get closer to achieving their goals. I have been in San Diego for almost 2 years now.

This is Sammy. I come from China. My first language is Cantonese and I also can speak Mandarin. I like to travel very much. I had been to Europe, Austrualia, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong & Macau. If you go travel around the world, English is very very useful. Therefore I am interested in English.  I settled down in San Diego for about half a year. I love it here. It's a good climate, beautiful ocean & beach views. And there are many stunning places. Especially the multiple cultures. I think I need to improve my English reading, writing & communication skills. So that is the reason why I came to MESA College to study. I like to go to the gym because I want to keep in good shape. And I also like cooking, reading, hiking, swimming...etc. I love life. My name is AIVY , i am from Vietnam. My first language is Vietnamese, but I can communicate a little bit Chinese and Japanese because I used to work at a restaurant of China and Japan in Vietnam. I love to talk to people around the world by English. That is my passion and I want it become truth. I listen English every single time I free , I don't shy when I talk to American people . When I met my husband I was a interpreter for my family because my family didn't how to speak and understand about English but i knew it. Hi everyone,
My name is Abdul Manan (AKA) Lucky, I am from Afghanistan. I have recently came to San Diego, CA. comparing to my country things are totally change here specially Culture and tradition,. My native language is Dari, but I can speak, read and write 5 different languages as I have mentioned in the class, I would love to learn Spanish because I have a lot of my friends from Mexico and I want to learn so I can talk to them in Spanish. I love traveling as I have been already visited 5 different countries and I want to visit more countries specially Europe countries. I have started my English classes in Mesa college so I can improve my English specially being in environment where people speak English,  Funny thing!! while traveling in a bus I always try to sit with some one who speaks good English so I can practice my English and enjoy talking to them. My ESL teacher and my friends are always telling me your speaking is good but you need to improve your writing and English grammar. I like playing volleyball and exercise, I go to play volleyball once a week because of my busy schedule. I have to make good friends in my neighborhood and in my class as well.
