a) The teacher is trying to cater to the different learning styles of the students.

b) Some activities do not require the students to have read the story. E.g. Creating a rap for bullying. -Can collaborate with different departments for the mathematical, musical and visual activities. (PW) -Needs clearer instructions for students. Some activities may not be aligned to lesson objectives. E.g. calculating amount of food one can buy with $10 to last for a week. -May be more useful using a choice board format instead.

Tasks are too varied. What is the best way to assess? What's the LO of this activity? Some activities do not require students to do in-depth reading of the text.

Perhaps the tasks could be scoped to one level of thinking. (Eg, Analyse) Or selected M.I depending on the profile of the class.

Do students know the subject criteria of each task?
