Description: A newly installed ‘pop up’ outdoor seating area which has taken over the former loading zone of the road. This area is to create new opportunity for outdoor activity however is not always utilised.

Description: An empty playground which is normally filled with children. It induces a reflection on the effects of COVID-19 when one considers what activities and occupation would typically be seen here at lunchtime.

Description:
The public courtyard within the community I live in. Anonymous people hang their cloth between these two trees in the public zone.

Description:
The original design of this pathway has loose quarries paved on the steel bars. However, after years of use, the quarries are removed by people with only the steel bars left. To make it easier and safer to walk through the steel channel. people then put these green pads on top. Besides, the location where places the pads are the actual path that people will walk through, rather than the original path designed by planners.

Description:
The original design of this pathway grows grass in between the gaps of the paving. However, as people passing by, the most frequent area are becoming bare. In spite, when a new rubbish station was installed in this area, the grass paving near that area was replaced by masonry paving.

Description A public green space along the sidewalk. They are next to the main traffic and it’s the ring road lacking of parking spot. Then drivers park between the trees in that case

Description: This picture was photographed last year in winter in China during the quarantine period. The shops outside the neighborhood turned the closed gate as the advertisements board.

Description: The is a free space outside the building without restriction then someone park the bike here. The worker puts their tools or materials useless when they go upstairs.
