There were many tragedies to occur in 2022. One of the biggest tragedies had to be the overturning of the Supreme Court case, Roe v Wade. The devastation of this Supreme Court decision reached across the world with women of different countries standing in solidarity with American women. Many women felt like they lost rights to their own bodies like they lost a piece of them. Their pain, sadness, and emptiness quickly turned to anger as American women took to the streets to protest the overturning of Roe v. Wade. They protested forced pregnancy and wanted to reclaim their sexual freedom and bodily rights. Throughout the centuries, art has reflected and depicted the emotions of women. Many of the emotions that American women felt during this time. Regardless of art style, the story of feminine emotions can be told. Art pieces in the exhibit display female sadness, pain, and fight.

An oracle had told her that she would bear a son, who would kill her father. Zeus, the god of gods, determined to have the oracle's tale come true, turned himself into golden rain, so he could enter her chamber.
