The temperature differs between places at lower and higher latitudes because the angle of incidence of the sun's rays will be smaller or bigger as it strikes various parts of the world at different angles. When the angle of incidence is smaller, the rays spread over a larger area and thus the lower concentration of the sun's rays will result in lower temperatures of the area. When the angle of incidence is bigger, the rays spread out over a smaller area, resulting in the concentration being higher, thus the temperature will be higher.

The higher the latitude ,the angle of incidence gets smaller. when the angle of incidence is smaller, the sun's ray spread over a larger area . This results in lower concentration of sunlight and therefore lower temperature.

If the place is inland,during summer,it will heat up faster than at coastal areas.On the other hand,during winter,inland areas will cool faster than coastal areas. This will result in the inland area having a higher temperature range
