A record Album would be an ideal item to send to a 1970s teenager. I am almost sure the school has a record player to play this. This is also one of the most iconic albums in Music History. Music is a magical thing due to the soothing feeling that it can bring. Even as a present day teenager, I always listen to music because it just always feel so good to listen to music. I feel that Angus would have the same thoughts about music itself as I do due to the effect it has on people that suffer from isolation. I think the music would just make him forget about his isolation and give him a moment to lay down and relax as the album plays over and over again. I think also too if I were to include an album with opera music, Angus and Mr. Hunham would be able to bond over the music since Mr. Hunham seems that he would enjoy opera. With all the struggles that Angus already faces, I think that the music will help him feel at ease. He needs something that will help him feel better.

Case of New York Steak

One main problem that Angus faced over at the school was that he was not a fan of the food. He made it obvious that most of the time he did not show interest in the food that Mary was making. The only time he enjoyed the food was for their Christmas dinner. I think having some nice steaks cooked for him would bring up his spirits as he already felt down being left there. A nice juicy steak is something you could never go wrong with no matter your age due to how good it tastes. Since Angus is rich, I am sure that he enjoys eating expensive steaks, so steaks like this being served would make him feel more like he is at home.

Sega Grand Prix Arcade Machine

Something that was amusing back then and is still amazing now is arcade games. Angus was shown facing a lot of boredom at school, often just sitting on the couch watching TV, and wanting to use the gym. I think an arcade machine like this would help keep him occupied during this rough holiday break. He was really lacking something to take up his time, so that is what the very point of this is. This game will bring him thrill and should make him forget about the isolation that he is facing.

A Space Odyssey VHS Tape

This movie was one of the most popular movies from the late 60s and I am sure this is a movie that Angus would be interested in. Angus always looks constantly bored when he was at school so if he has something interesting to watch it could bring him joy. I'm sure if him and his teacher watched this movie, they could both bond together over the movie whether they like it or not. As he is drawn into the movie it will likely give him a moment to forget about all his struggles and just focus on the movie.

Ski-Gear

I think that Angus is an outdoor activities person. I get this from the fact he wanted to go ice skating and go enjoy the outside environment in Boston. I think since he is in a snow environment, skiing is an activity that he would want to partake in. He seemed interested when the guy who plays for their football team was talking about how he was going to go skiing at a really nice slope. So I think if he went skiing he would be going to a very fun environment, having even more fun than he did when he went ice skating. This would also create a core memory that he will never forget.
