It was a long battle and l am very happy with my self. I do not want a reward as heroic-ship is a kind thing to do not a job but if thy do not mind I would like a new sword as I left it in his big green arm and forgot to bring it back (it was not very nice anyway). I will not be staying for long as I will slaughter the long-feared Lockness monster. And when I kill the beast I will take its big bloody tooth and attach it to my big wooden shield (that is almost broken).It will be my hardest battle as I will have to take it down quick and if I do not succeed I will not return but if I do succeed I will be heading your way🙂.

If you ever go back to your royal feasting hall, there shall be blood everywhere and you will find Grendel's rotting arm nailed up against the wall. I went through a lot of pain though thy beast has been slain and your kingdom is saved from him, though I cannot say that the mother isn't mad at us. We'll be drinking her blood in our wine goblets next! You should be very thankful that I have slain the monster, I nearly died!

I have just left your lovely, but now bloody, banqueting hall. I have conquered the terrible beast! Grendel. He is now lying in the mucky marsh slowly bleeding to death. As I have ripped off his scaly flesh. His arm is now on a post, rotting like an out of date potato in memory of me and Grendel's fascinating death. As I'm writing my sword is dripping blood. Bad blood. And now I've got to clean up my room because it has blood stains from my clothes. You might have to deal with some of Grendel's relatives, as I saw more deadly eyes staring into my soul . So be warned. But for now have fun.

I am so so delighted that I slayed the beast you’re scared off. I am expecting you to return to your Banqueting Hall soon. It was easy slaying Grendel, I just had to chop off his arm and then he cried in pain. He later stood up and then just fell over. To make sure he was dead I plonked my sword into his chest and a hour later it was covered in blood when I pulled it out the swamp turned red. I will expect a payment of some kind. I’ve heard that his mother has heard about the death of Grendel and will fight to the death. If you want me to kill her I will charge 30 golden coins.
