Formerly it was destined to execute indigenous people who were sent to the gallows. Located in the western colony of Tunja where you can see a church built in 1587 that offers a panoramic view of the city of Tunja. It is a striking place because of its very special location, I like it because it has an unusual atmosphere, and I know it well since I live in this sector.

An ideal place to walk and visit the church. The mass is the central activity and organizes meetings because it is a comfortable space for many. The festival of San Lázaro is celebrated on September 1 with a kite contest. San Lázaro is close to the Cojines del Zaque. All kinds of people can visit this site, especially those interested in knowing the heritage of Tunja, in addition to its gastronomy, we find corn-wrapped corn and empanadas, the traditional drink is mazato.

In this place people should not throw garbage or attempt against the architecture of this, it would also be advisable not to attend in times of rain, since it is usually accompanied by high-magnitude winds, in the same way I would recommend not ingesting alcoholic beverages, because it is a place of faith and respect for the Catholic religion, it can finally be concluded that it is a wonderful place to share with the family, full of history with a very special bond with Nature.
