         <description><![CDATA[<div>Working on phonics specifically of short and long e sounds. They are to find the word, say it, and spell it. Students share responses. Teach a word and its meaning through the use of images. Map connects with story because it shows where butterflies travel. Read words related to subject. Students then write what they find interesting and why. Refer to chart. Practice with partner for test. Teacher give sample sentence for the to fill in with their own thoughts.<br><br>Students share written responses. Teach meaning vocab. Choral reading. Reread sections of text. Compare and contrast life cycle of animals. Refer to Chart. Lastly, students are to write a paragraph about butterfly migration using time words.<br>Goal is  for students to be able to put what knowledge they have received on paper.</div>]]></description>
