Aristotle was one of the greatest philosophers ever known and the first scientist of genius in history, he was drew up many of the main problems of literary criticism, by the time he had turned his attention to the study of literature about the future of Athens, Which Plato was so interest about that, Although what Plato had said was always in the back of his mind and this was a brilliant genius, also tough by Plato.                                      

Aristotle's primary concern is in the Catastrophe ( Tragedy), also contrasts tragedy in the poetics with other metrical styles such as comedy and epic, determines that tragedy is a kind of imitation like all poetry, and the aim of tragedy is to bring the catharsis to the audience, to give them feelings of pitty and fear, and that each part has an ideal relationship with each other.               

He makes a famous distinction between history and poetry, the historian writes about what has already happened, and the poet writes about what might happen, poetry is also a more philosophical and higher thing than history in the case of poetry, common history seeks to convey a particularity, also he says goodness is linked to any class of people, when he talked about character. Even a woman may be good and a slave as well.       He tells us more truthful things about literature of all ages, if not all literature than any critic who has ever lived.

The idea of imitation for Horace is not imitation for nature and idea, but imitation of other writers, in order to be a good writer you need to learn from the other writers, the poet should show the image of his\her mind through writing poetry, in my opinion, each writer should have his\her idea because they need to create new things and also people will be bored of these repeating ideas, they want new things and new ideas.
