I had a lot of information as the history of Finland before the year of 1917. Based on the presentation, I have understood the affect of neighbor country as Sweden to Finland during the Middle Age, Medieval age, 17th, 18th centuries. in more details, Sweden was one of four major power in Finland during 1150s, or 1249 and 1253. additionally, Finland was under the rule of Finland in the 13th-14th century ( In 1249 settlement of Turku had been established and became one of the major cities in kingdom of Sweden.). Furthermore, I also know more amzing information such as Helsinki was founded by Gustav Vasa in 1550, or Abo the first Finnish university was founded in 1640, And Bible was fully translated in Finnish language in 1642.
Beside that, I was really interested in the civil war theme which have 2 differents denominations: The white (Conservatives) include the level of Swedish-speaking upper and middle classes & peasantry usually in Rural Center and the North; the Red (Socialists) is the level of Finnish-speaking urban workers & landless folks in the industrial South.
However, I did not clear in the part of Great Duchy of Finland.

Finland has a variety types of sport. However, almost of them based on the weather condition (summer sports and winter sports).
Firstly, in the summer sport section, Football known as the most popular sport all over the world should absolutely be mentioned, with the legend player named Jari Litmanen (considered one of the best attacking midfielders in the world.). Beside that, Finnish baseball (Pesäpallo or nestball), atheletics, floorball,... are also common here. Furthermore, Finland is also known as the host country of Olympic game summer 1952.
Secondly, winter season is an amazing feature in Finland. Therefore, winter sports is widely played in this country. Especially ice hockey with a lot of award during the history (Olympic bronze, silver, gold medals, IIHF world championship gold medal in 1995&2011, world cup,...) Finnish Men national ice hockey team is also known as top 6 strongest team all over the world. Beside, ski jumping and cross country skiing are absolutely a fancy experience in Finland and calm down, winter is coming.
Moreover, other sports like Esport, F1, Racing, or wife-carrying (the sport originated in Fin) are also popularity here.

Education in Finland

Education is one of my reasons to come and study in Finland. Why? not only the high ranking in education in compare with others countries but also the qualities, cares of school to their students. For example, each school has nurses or even doctor, due to this factors, parents will not be worried about their children's injuries of outdoor activities. Additionally, schools also provide free lunch meals for their kids. Personally, I think this is a good way, not only because of providing energy for kids, but also teaching them about healthy food, healthy meal.
Beside that, Finnish education is different from other countries due to their homework. Some people even say that "there is no homework in Finland. However, it is not a reality. Actually, teachers give homework for students. BUT the amount of homework depends on their school ages. The older they are, the more homework they have. High school students do have homework, reading, project work, assignments...But primary school kids do not have any homework at the weekend, and very very little homework on weekdays. They just need to do homework around 15-20 minutes per day on weekdays, and not every day. Also, teachers give homework when they think whether students necessarily have them or not, not compulsorily/necessarily to fill out students’ free time by exercises. School life is not only about homework, but also outdoor activities, camping, practical visits, socializing time, family and friend time...
I am absolutely enjoy the education system in Finland where ready to make a platform, condition for their students to research, discover, self study.

Therefore, the first thing when I came here is searching as well as asking about the keyword of music.
Fortunately, Finland is the place where classical rock, metal rock or even metal folk was born.
