Scratch is a platform that can be used to tell stories and help kids, especially elementary level, understand different subjects. In math, for example, changing the placement of the cat on the screen helps kids see what it means to change coordinates on a graph. The pictures and different avatars might also be able to help students in history class get a visual for what happened during a specific era. All in all, there are many values to using platforms like Scratch, specifically for students who cannot learn by lecture or reading something out of a book.
