This group was created for high school students who are struggling with family changes, specifically divorce. The group will focus on exploring feelings and coping skills. It is meant to help reduce negative emotions and provide students with ways to cope.

Divorce is very common and can affect children's education and mental health. It is estimated that about 25% of children who experience parental divorce suffer from emotional and behavioral problems (American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, n.d.). Giving students support and educating them on coping skills can help in reducing these negative effects.
