Submission is in the form of a presentation that discusses your production role(s) which is recommended to be 20 minutes long. You may illustrate your learning through either a live or a video recorded presentation. Your presentation must be supported with research and referenced using the Harvard referencing system. It must be submitted in document form. This will also be backed up and evidenced with the execution of the final performance.

What You Will Do:

•Audition for a role in the chosen musical. You will also be given a backstage/production role (like lighting, costumes, stage management, choreographer etc.)

•Give a 20-minute presentation that explains:

•Your ideas for the whole production.

•How you will rehearse and prepare for both your acting role and your production role.

•The background of the show (social, historical, political context) and how it affects your rehearsal and performance choices.

•What your role(s) are, why they are important, and your first creative ideas for your character or production work.
