Students will pick an online virtual animal. I will give prompts that specific animals have, for example, what type of habitat does your animal live in. Then they will go to the mat on the floor that has the correct habitat.

Animal research project

Each student will pick an animal of their choice. They will gather as much information as they can about the animal using the internet. After they gather their information about the animal they will make a slide presentation and present it to the class.

Needs of a living human group project

I will put my students in small groups and ask them to ask each other what needs they think we need as humans. After the groups have their list of needs each group will screen-cast a picture of each need using there iPad. They also talk about why they chose that need.

Habitat song

Each student will get assigned a habitat to make a song about. In the song they will talk about the kid of animals that live there and what the habit looks like ect.

Observing animals in there natural habitats
