Children in grades 3rd through 4th would mainly read this for their own interest and learn useful information. The reading also provides another useful subject such as Social Studies. The book would be used through the classroom to help kids understand the past of America and guide their education deeper into the history of Presidents.

Children ages 3 through 8 would mainly read this book since the story produces rhymes and repetition. The story would be entertaining for the classroom and educate the children with language development. Throughout the story multiple sentences are repeated and the children could learn from the rhythm. The story concludes with a collection of all characters together blissfully which would entertain the classroom since the story had a positive outcome.

The age group for this story would mainly be 4 to 7 years old. The children would read this in one sitting and enjoy simple storytelling. This story would help the class identify the sequence of time and introduce singing into a story since the book ends with a short song. The children would then learn to feed into their curiosity by using the main characters in this story.

This story would be read by children that are usually ages 3 to 6 years old. This book introduces rhythm and judgments about right and wrong choices. The children will learn that bad behavior is punishable and good behavior can be rewarded. This could help the classroom learn about including other people in a polite way. The ending of this story ends happily which could teach the classroom about the justice of happy endings.

This story is predominantly for ages 3 through 7. This book has few words and most of the storytelling is through pictures. This could teach the classroom to learn the varied products of literature and the simple story telling without words. The story also provides the usage of personification of objects which could be a new literary device to have the classroom master.

This story is generally for children around the ages of 6 to 9. This would be a good use for the classroom to ask students "how would you feel?" type of questions since it revolves around a tragedy in someones life. The story could help the class recognize empathy for others during difficult times. The story involves realistic possibilities that could happen to anyone, although it does break down these incidents in a more light-hearted way suitable for children. The story is a folktale that teaches children about chain reactions by explaining how one person's action might cause consequences for others.

This book is generally for children ages 5 to 8. This story includes repetition and it would teach kids who are learning based on direct experiences. The story demonstrated how a fox had stolen a drink from a woman causing her to act in frustration which she then cut his tail off. The fox tried to beg for his tail back and had to travel throughout the town to find what he needed, until he found a nice older man to help him. This could teach the classroom that an act of kindness could help someone even if the effort is minor.
Hogrogian, Nonny. One Fine Day. Macmillian Publisher. 1974.

This story is typically for children 5 to 8. This story could build concepts through others experiences. In this reading we are introduced to the main character who finds a magic pebble and wishes he was a rock. The reason for this was because he was frightened by a nearby lion. His transformation made his parents worry where he was and they searched the whole town asking everybody. The parents eventually found him and everything was back to normal. This story could educate the class about never taking anything for granted and being careful of what you wish for. Steig, William. Windmill Books/Simon & Schuster. 1969.
