3. The other questionare was distributed  
   which was to got the student’s 
   opinion about the best time to do a 
gotong royong. 

The data obtained clearly indicated that KAB students are facing safety problem where snakes enter students room. This problem may cause from weak cleanliness maintenance. As the result gotong royong program will be held on 1/12/2018 in moring(9-11 am) to solve this problem. It is conclude that the situation will deteriorate if no remedial act taken to improve students safety.

RECOMMENDATIONS 

1.This program involving kab's students and kab's staff with Wisma Aman help.

2.we should do gotong royong program once a month.

3.Merit will be given to student to encourage them to join this program.

4.Activities suggested are removing or reducing area where snakes can hide and plant some plants around kan backyard ti repell snakes naturally.

5.Wisma Aman staff will make sure the students' savety doring gotong royong.

Why I use the solution :

 

1.Long grasses

 

·         Areas that can keep they warm during night because they lack the internal ability to regulate their body temperatures.

·         Lots of insect.

 

2.Excess vegetation

 

·         So vegetation is a big snake attractor .In fact, our excess vegetation will not only attract snakes but other rodents and insects as well. So we have to eliminate or trim back heavy vegetation.

 

3.Piles of debris

 

·         This means that our college is full of debris that attracts snakes. Snakes like a safe place to live ,hunt and hide, and places to crawl in.

 

 

4.Rubbish

 

·         Food waste also attracts rodents which will in turn bring out snakes to our college

1)    58.3% of the respondents agreed that Gotong-royong can helps to reduce the amount of wildlife from entering their room.

2)    Experts said that this activity can helps to reduce the chances for snakes to find  their hiding spots.

3)    Environment will be less polluted.

4)    Most of respondents said it help to keep their college’s surrounding clean.

 

 Respondents said :

1) Gotong-royong is cheap and easy to do.

2) Students don’t  have to pay to join it.

 

1)  Dangerous diseases such as dengue, malaria and leptospirosis can be avoided.

2)  Gotong-royong activities such cut tall grass and bushes , clean the drain can  

       helps students to stay healthy.

 

  To encourage student`s involvement

 

 1) College`s merit will be given.

 2) Large amount of students will join this programme.

 3) Respondents suggest to distribute free foods.

 

E)  SAFETY PROBLEM

 To increase students safety,  experts suggest to

1) Wisma Aman should be involved to ensure students safety.

2) Bulan Sabit Merah should standby for emergency cases.
