- able to relate to the ad, thinking about memories, previous experiences and the theme of friendship, reminded me of my friends
- music was very light, made me feel warmhearted. it also built up in intensity/positivity as the ad progressed
- products were advertised in a clear way, but not too in your face, the clothing pieces and styling was subtle yet bold
- how the ad almost told a story - of their journey, hard work, and how any dream can be worked towards. they used personal pronouns which helped viewers become inspired 
- the close ups on the shoes, shoes being designed etc.

- again quite minimalist, not much going on which personally appeals to me
- the inclusion of the hashtag at the end made me want to go and check it out 
- use of a familiar/well known comedian and the prime minister
- over exaggeration of everyday New Zealand/Kiwi jokes (Wellington beehive, being somewhere in NZ etc.)
- the intense music which accompanied the close ups of the newsboards/articles which were contributing to why NZ was off the map.
- comedic take on blaming other countries

- the use of parallels - similar scenes in different locations (e.g. the closing signs)
- shots of different countries, showing where you could go and that the possibilities don't end 
- is almost a span of one day or a journey - at the start of the ad, it's early morning and there are opening of curtains, turning on the planes, setting up shop. then shows activities, skiing, surfing, sight-seeing etc. and at the end the journey ends with loved ones reuniting. 
- showing friends/family travelling together
- the hashtag #wheretonext and the link that they have on the video
