         <description><![CDATA[<div>T1D is not sex-linked it is autosomal. Scientists believe at least one gene on each of the chromsomes 2, 6, 7, 11 impact diabetes. T1D has different evidence for whether or not it is recessive or dominant. However it has been concluded that it is much more complicated than just Mendelian concepts genetics. </div>]]></description>

You can also take a fasting glucose test, which is where you fast for 8 hours and then get your glucose level is measured.
