Dogs make great pets because when you walk your dog, it is getting you good exercise for your wild dog and yourself. When you are alone, (or feeling lonely) your dog will come over and play with you like a struggling game of tug of war between you and your golden retriever (or what ever dog you have) over your dogs toy, or you can play chase with your canine outside in the blistering heat on the front yard, (although it is very dangerous:(, or just fall asleep and let your dog slumber on you and wake up with a furry tail in your face! Another way to rid you of your boredom, or loneliness is just pet your dogs soft fur until it just falls into a deep sleep, without snoring. If you do this risky activity for your dog, make sure that you're doing this on the solid ground, because if your dog hibernates on a couch, or a table, etc., then he/she will come crashing to the ground, laying there crippled. They'll then sleep in a soft bed,
