Today HR assigned us by sending email from Outlook and need to complete the quiz of PDPA 2010 for year 2024 and PDPA 2010 for year 2025.

My assistant manager, Sam, he give me the AWD account, Admin Portal Account.

Sam tell me to learn with JF Scheme under the Team Leader of Liew Kin Mun to learn doing Contributions.

Kin Mun assigned one of the member from JF scheme, Alif Yuzi to teach me doing Contribution.

Yuzi explain to me what are the website that need to use while doing the daily BAU task.

Yuzi also explain about what are going to check before doing the task as Employer name, Employer Account No., Payroll Group No., and Contribution Period. If not the task cannot be proceed.

I am learn and ask while what are the Yuzi proceed every task and get to know every task need to check very detail avoid getting wrong because every the amount is contribute to the amount EMPF of employee from Hong Kong they receive.

Every BAU task will need to two person because every case need to double check so there will checking by DC 1 and DC 2. If both of the DC checking got someone doing wrong, the case will drop the Supervisor FU(follow up), then the Supervisor of Scheme will help to check what are the wrong they doing and try the help correct it.

Today I am picking some Contribution task that assigned under Yuzi's name and guide by Yuzi.

I am complete 10 RSCONT (Remittance Statement Contribution) cases guides by Yuzi.

One of the Bulks Upload team member, Jayden assigned me try to helping input the Employee (EE) detail such as identity no. EE, Relevant Income (RI), Basic Salary (BS), Mandatory Contributin (MC), and Voluntary Contribution (VC) of EE in one excel file.

There is in about 300 and above the EE need to input.

Today, Jayden assigned me to verify the termination status of EE in the company for March.

I need to check whether the Contribution was received, reviewed the Account status, and performed account cloning to the Termination team.

Attended the new employee orientation and briefing by HR more about the organistion under the iFast company and what are the business on going by iFast. Other than that, brief about employee benefits that company provided.

Participated in icebreaking activities and pair with the other department to know each other and present the detail of pair infront everyone.

Doing RSCONT cases under JF scheme guide by Yuzi.

Yuzi assigned me one task got 200 EE of the problem checking RSCONT cases such as checking the account status got active account or already termination and also is that the age of EE exceed 65 years old or haven't.

65 years old EE cannot pay for the MC, but they can apply and submit a form to do VC for their eMPF account.

Attended another new joiner orientation, learn the structure of iFAST, listen speech of my intern Supervisor as Senior Manager of Operarions, Mr Ong Qi Chao about the future of ePension department and do the Q&A session.

Today done 10 cases of RSCONT under JF scheme and guide by Yuzi.

Kin Mun as the Supervisor under JF scheme, today start to assigned me some of the task to try do by myself and if got any problem or issue can get advice or assist by Yuzi.

There are about 10 tasks DC 1 and 10 tasks DC 2 done by myself for RSCONT case under JF scheme.

Today, I am going to done the RSCONT tasks under my name.

I am doing Contribution capturing under the JF scheme for March period.

I learn about surcharge: surcharge = 5% of total contribution amount, need to use DCR function in eMPF system to check EEs’ billing status of surcharge. We need to use BLD to fill in duplicate form.

The surcharge will charge as because ER (employer) late submit the Remittance Statement to our company for capturing the amount eMPF of EE after the 10 days while it was count from the Actual Received date or more than 1 month to capture that month.

Some of the RSCONT not only submit the MC or VC capturing, also will submit surcharge to capture.

Learn to check EE’s age whether above 65 to decide if we should input VC and other contribution data for TERMG/TERMD account, ER also report 0.00 sometimes for those EE had terminated.

Sometimes the ER will report MC for EE which already 65 above, we need to make a call list to ER whether they misplace the amount or they forgot that the EE already 65 and above.

Today, learn to use more functions in AWD in contribution capturing operations, such as By Ref No., ER Work, Mb Work. Learn from payment team about how to use RSP/PSD/BLD to get PRP of the cheque. Learn how to use Payment Submission and Payment Receipt.

Learned how to perform payment tagging for physical cheque payments. This involved checking the envelope code to locate the corresponding payment proof.

Gained an understanding of the suspense account—its purpose is to temporarily hold unidentified or unmatched payments—and how to handle it during the tagging process.

Also learned how to index the receipt reference (receiptref) correctly before proceeding with payment tagging.

Observed other interns as they demonstrated the steps involved in payment tagging, which helped reinforce the process visually.

After completing the assigned RSCONT cases, I had hands-on practice with payment tagging, applying what I had observed and learned previously.

Our seating arrangement was reorganized today. I was placed in a group with other interns, which made communication easier and allowed us to support each other more effectively during tasks.

As the number of RSCONT cases began to decrease, the team shifted focus more toward payment tagging tasks.

While working on tagging, I encountered some uncertainties and sought assistance from fellow interns. Collaborating with them helped me better understand the process and resolve my doubts.

With fewer contribution cases available, Kin Mun assigned me to a bulk upload task involving over 800 employees.

It took me the whole day to complete the data entry, but I was able to tally the final amount with the remittance statement, which was a relief and gave me a sense of accomplishment.

Learned a new type of payment tagging called DDA (Direct Debit Authorization). Compared to physical cheque tagging, DDA is more straightforward and efficient.

Learned how to create a TEMP (temporary) account for employees who do not have an active account in the system. Before creating the TEMP account, it’s important to check the enrolment form.

This was my first time handling such a high volume of MBTERM cloning for a single employer, which gave me valuable exposure to large-scale case processing.

Over the past few days, we encountered many employers with a large number of employees. As a result, Kin Mun introduced us to OCR, now that we are able to download attachments from our laptops.

He explained that OCR is useful for converting remittance statements into Excel format, especially for cases involving more than 40 employees, making the data input process much more efficient.

Following the introduction to OCR, Kin Mun taught us how to use the VLOOKUP formula in Excel.

This function is especially useful when handling bulk cases with many employees, allowing us to match data more efficiently and reduce manual errors. It significantly improved our processing speed and accuracy.

Today, several new joiners arrived, and Kin Mun assigned me to guide one of them, Najihah.

I explained the overall concepts and step-by-step procedures involved in contribution processing, sharing everything I had previously learned from Yuzi, Adriana, Faten, and Kin Mun.

I also supervised her while she tried handling some cases, and she was able to complete them successfully.

I am assigned being a part of SD scheme team member. There is many outstanding RSCONT case need to clear.

Today, I was assigned to train two more task force members. I taught them the basics of contribution handling, including key steps and common mistakes to avoid.

Both were fast learners and were able to handle cases independently in a short time.

Also spent time answering questions from task force members, as many of them are still unfamiliar with the contribution process. I did my best to guide them based on what I’ve learned, helping them understand the workflow and resolve their doubts.

Sam assigned me and 5 colleagues together go to learning about Enrolment team.

Ching Yu as the enrolment colleague are teaching us about the things need to check before proceed the enrol EE case such as are the EE got active account/temporary account or no any active acc.

Then, need to help to indexing the Business Registered Account No. Business Code ID before proceed case.

Doing the enrolment cases need to refer to enrol EE form that the detail write by EE.

The detail need to key in such as EE's name, ID No., Date of Birth, Place of Birth, and others basic information. The important things are the signature of EE needed if not the case will drop to unclean issue and need to EE resubmit a new one or new updated inform if not cannot enrol that EE.

Today Ching Yu also guide me to do Enrolment EE case to avoid input wrong information to the Admin Portal although there is got DC 1 and DC 2 proceed every case.

I am facing the problem in some cases like need to find ourself about the district area of the addreas EE in Hong Kong by using google search.

I am proceed in about 15 cases of Enrolment.

I am going continue to proceed the Enrolment cases and learn from this department as my Manager choose and send me to here learning for few days.

I had done about 20 Enrolment Tasks today.

Today I am proceed Enrolment cases and got 10 cases in Supervisor FU because of the different district area finding by DC 2 and me. Ching Yu get some advice to us while find the district area avoid doing wrong again.

Total Enrolment task done by me for today around 20 cases.

Today, I going familiar with Enrolment task and reduce the wrong less than before.

Afternoon, I going back to my primary team and my work place.

As I know to enrol EE, when I facing few cases that EE haven't enrol but got submit enrolment form, I can help to proceed the enrolment case for helping myself to next step as proceed RSCONT task. If not I cannot proceed RSCONT task as the EE who I needed will be a unactive account and I need to create TEMP Account to that EE as sometimes will create unsuccessful.

We were informed that a new scheme, BOCI, would officially onboard on 5/6/2025. This scheme is expected to be the largest among all existing schemes.

In preparation, Kin Mun mentioned that additional task forces from other departments would join to assist.

He assigned one task force member to me, and I carefully guided him through the RSCONT process. He was a quick learner and picked up the steps efficiently.

The contribution peak period began again. Focused on handling RSCONT cases under the SD scheme.

I already supervised like 30 cases that need Supervisor FU.

Some of the wrong doing by others colleague that I got is they are input wrong amount and some of them forgot to input .00 at behind of every amount.

Today I am going continue supervised case under BOCI scheme which is the SLA of task already close and to avoid penalty.

I supervised around 28 cases under Supervisor FU status. Moreover, I also need to do the comment in iFast chat of group to tell the person who doing wrong and cannot supervised to kill case, clone a new case and redo it.

The case I got is both of the DC checking input the wrong to the EE, since we cannot edit the amount that input wrong by DC 1 and 2. Other than that, both of DC checking input amount to the termination account status since the EE didnt have active account.

Today I am going continue supervised case under BOCI scheme which is the SLA of task already close and to avoid penalty.

The wrong doing by colleague that I got by today is both DC checking didn't investigate correct as the case need to issue unclean that cannot proceed as usual but they just input without correct information.

The wrongly that I got to see for today many of cases are they create the TEMP account for EE but at the same time the Enrolment Team already create an active account for the EE. So, I advice them to kill case and redo it and input the data in correct account which to active account.

For the morning session, I am supervised around 10 cases under the BOCI scheme.

For the afternoon session, my own scheme Supervisor, Cindy is going to tell me come back to SD scheme for helping to proceed Payment side of the SD scheme.

After the discussion with Cindy, that the Payment of SD scheme Contribution side already stuck for few weeks, so Moohnish as the senior colleague and I are proceed to do DC 1 and DC 2 together for payment tagging.

I am completing in about 40 cases of payment tagging for today.

Cindy assigned me to help for teaching Aimi as the colleague under SD scheme to learn doing for payment tagging.

I am guide for Aimi and explain what are the part need to check clearly and avoid to do the mistake. This is because if payment tagging already End Complete while there is tag for wrong amount, it will be a big issue cause the payment will submit to bank already and will need from developer helping.

There are few importants as Cheque, Direct Credit, Others payment method or FPS are some step will not same. I am teach careful for each different payment method and explain to Aimi when finding the correct payment proof and proceed for doing payment settlement.

Today, Cindy also assigned as a teacher to teach Nabila as SD scheme colleague also to learn doing payment tagging.

Nabila also a fast learner and will do note while I explain about the checking part for get the right PRD No. as the payment proof got some detail no. help us to figure out.

After teaching her, I also continue to do payment tagging cases under SD scheme.

HR pass me there is 4 documents need to submit to them before my internship end there are Non-disclosure form, Internship Evaluation form (feedback ownself to the company), clearance form (as pass back the premise equipment), and the time sheet.

Had a wrap-up interview with the HR department, where I reflected on my internship experience and received feedback.

Today, I am assigned as doing for Payment Tagging under the SD scheme. There is 40 cases done by myself.

Today, I am going to assist in Payment Tagging also under the SD scheme. Whereby there is got 800+ outstanding cases.

I had done the Payment Tagging as 50 cases.

Today is the last day of my internship, I am pass up the form there is need to have Supervisor Sign and company Chop.

Since is last day, my job also need to continue as doing Payment Tagging aslo to clear the outstanding cases.

They also assigned me as doing Supervised cases under BOCI scheme.

It was a meaningful and memorable day—I officially completed my internship journey and will be continuing my career at iFAST. We also took photos with colleagues to commemorate the end of this valuable experience.
